Starfield creates several autosaves of your progress by default, this will usually occur when changing location in-game. You will also have several autosave options available under Settings>Gameplay. Save on Rest: Enables autosaving on sleeping.

Usually, the game will make an autosave to mark progress upon entering a new area or building. This is handy if you forget about manually saving, but it's not ideal.

Saves, at least when using the steam version, are in Documents\My Games\Starfield\Saves. You should be able to just copy everything there to a USB or google drive (as a zipped folder) and place them in the same location on another pc.

I found out how to back up the save files. Starfield Saves are found under Local Disk (C:) / Users / *Your User* / Documents / My Games / Starfield / Saves. Just copy and paste the "Saves" file onto another folder or device to copy your save files.
