What is Zoroark best strategy? ›

Muscle Band works well with Night Slash since Zoroark needs to attack to perform the combo. Attack Weight provides Zoroark with a large Attack stat boost, increasing its overall damage output. Weakness Policy improves Zoroark's damage as it takes hits from opponents, particularly while using Night Slash.

What counters Zoroark? Zoroark is a Dark type Pokémon, which makes it weak against Fighting, Bug and Fairy moves.

Zoroark's always been a sort of gamble. I used one a lot in Black and would make it disguise as a Ghost type, that way it discouraged Fighting attacks (and typically made them use a Dark move), which would buy a turn for a Nasty Plot, after which he's a decent sweeper, but far from the best.

Zoroark can create incredibly realistic illusions. However, Zoroark are incapable of physically changing themselves into another form; they are merely capable of casting illusions. They can transform into both people and other Pokémon. When a Zoroark takes the form of a human, it is capable of human speech.

Zoroark gets Grass knot, while Gengar gets Energy Ball (and Giga Drain, if Pokeshifting from 4th gen). If you are looking for sheer special attacking power, Gengar is the better choice. However, if you want a mixed set or physical set, Zoroark comes out the winner. Both are good however.

Zoroark is incredibly squishy in Great League due to its high ATK stat. Its fragility mirrors that of Haunter and Gengar, but the lack of a low cost Charge Move makes it less viable by comparison. Its moveset overall is still very strong, but Zoroark simply cannot survive long enough to benefit from it.

In short, Hisuian Zoroark is a little faster and the better special attacker compared to regular Zoroark. On the other hand, regular Zoroark has slightly-better Attack and HP. One advantage Hisuian Zoroark has over regular Zoroark is fewer type weaknesses and cannot be injured by Normal or Fighting-type moves.

As the first Pokemon introduced for Gen 5, Zoroark has become somewhat of a fan favorite, even sometimes assumed to be a Legendary or Mythical Pokemon by fans. However, as part of only a two-stage evolutionary line with Zorua, Zoroark doesn't meet the criteria to even be Pseudo Legendary.

Zoroark can create illusions that are indistinguishable from reality, deluding many people simultaneously. It can even create illusory landscapes in the forests where it dwells, to hide its territory and protect its den.

Actually, female Zoroarks are rarer.

Weezing and Gengar are the best options usually. Both are immune to Ground, but weak to Psychic, and both have a similar enough move set to 'fool' someone. Weezing resists Fighting, and Gengar is immune to it, so it would be risky for someone to use a Fighting move on either Illusion.

Timid or Naive are the best natures. Usually Zoroark is played with a choiced item, scarf/specs, with the following moves: U-Turn, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse/Night Daze and Focus Blast. You can also run Nasty plot on it with the Life Orb or the Leftovers.

Zoroark has only one Dark-type move as a Fast Attack. Snarl is the best option to inflict damage on the opponent from an offensive standpoint. So, this move as the Fast Attack and Foul Play or Sludge Bomb as the Charged Attack will make for an excellent move combo for Zoroark.
