Is it safe to use VitalChek? ›

VitalChek meets the requirements of credit card companies for e-commerce/Internet transactions. It encrypts all communication between the user's browser and our servers using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption (RSA 2048 bit certificates along with cipher suites that utilize 128 bit encryption or greater).

There is a nonrefundable $40 application processing fee for most applications, and a $15 fee per certificate. Processing time: 12 weeks. Delivery by regular mail can take an additional two weeks. Add additional time for your application to be delivered to our office.

The current processing time for online or phone orders placed through VitalChek is 30 days - 3 months, depending on certificate type and year. Use the button link below to order online through VitalChek, the only authorized vendor for a state-issued, certified birth certificate. VitalChek is an independent service.
