I'll give this 2 stars as they are in the process of fixing the issue.
First off, I sent in my auto payment letter by (snail mail) 2 weeks ago and when I called just a few days before my payment was due they stated they never received it. So, Instead of missing a payment I made my payment thru my debit card and was charged another $10 fee to do so.
Secondly,
I looked a t my bank account and realized they took out my payment from the snail mail letter I sent. So they charged me twice. Had to call in and ask to reverse my funds. Thats going to be a 3 days process. Unfortunately, looks like they don't pay attention to what they do there. I'll be looking to get out of this loan from them and go with someone else as soon as I can.
I don't do good with incompetence, sorry..

Terrible service, having not missed a single payment on anything in the last 5 years, they shut off my auto pay and result in me damaging my own credit score for incompetence on their end. Was going to take a business loan out but will be taking business elsewhere

They gave me the best interest rate around. Thank you I enjoyed doing business with you. I have referred many friends. Many locations made it convenient to make my monthly payment. All staff was always courteous. I highly recommend doing banking with ESL.

Approved for car loan. Esl wanted 50% down payment on vehicle at dealer in order to finance. Didnt matter if gm or chrysler. Also esl wanted to pull multiple credit reports in same day., just because I asked for a book value. They used to be good, now they are useless.

Difficult to reach someone. Also, hard to get them to understand and work with if there is an error. Challenging to work things out.

Online is what I like best , no lines no waiting, I like that I can apply xtra money to principal only! I don’t care. For drive thru in chili they take too long.

When going through difficult times, I called regarding my loan and CC to ask for a bit of help. No one helped, in fact they made it more difficult for me to be able to pay what I owed.

Esl scam.they sent title release to car dealer ship and myself.I received a check 4 over paying.I call them they said check is good cash it.I did now 2 weeks later they want money back.bbb knows about this

Better business Bureau knows what esl did and is investigating them.sending a check for o er payment on my end was good .but becuz they did error I have to pay them back for a check they sent by mistake that they said to go ahead and cash it, I now have payment plan again with this credit union.my loan was paid automatically out of Mt checking account how was I back .becuz payments rude on 7th of every month. Car was back at dealership July 22 .dealer sent money in Aug 5 ,Aug 6 title release was sent out to us.Aug 7 payment was included in pay off.esl said no it was not.this is where the mistake happened by esl.
