Horrible customer service, very unprofessional and rude, especially the lady who runs the fraud department, Maura, I think her name is. She needs to be fired.

If I could give ESL in Brockport, NY zero stars I WOULD! They are THIEVES!!!!!!!
My fiancé and I went in to get some rolls of quarters (we use them for our dryer) and we noticed that two of the five rolls were each a dollar short. So, my fiancé contacted their customer service representative and they instructed him to go back in at HIS CONVENIENCE to get the $2 reimbursed. The representative put a note on his account so the clerks working were aware.
We go into the bank and tell them the situation.
The manager then comes out and refuses to reimburse us! She says, “We’ll get fired if we just hand out $2”.
They wouldn’t be just “handing out” free money. They would be giving us our money that they did not give us in the first place. So, essentially they stole our money! (I understand it isn’t that much money, but it’s the principle!)

If anyone is getting ANY money from ESL, whether it is cash, check, or rolls of coins VERIFY that the amount is correct!

If you happen to get coins, make sure to open them in front of the clerk and count them!! If not, they will likely try to SCAM/STEAL your money too!!!!!!!

This will be the second and last time that I have issues getting my debit card renewal. My debit card expires in December, literally the worst month for the post office. This is the second time that my new card has been lost in the mail. Each time this has happened, they block my current card before it expires, messing up everything. All my auto payments are halted because they claim someone could have gotten my new card and used it, even though it's not activated, nor would that person have any of my information. So basically, their activation means nothing, but they say it does. Although they block all my legitimate use on my unexpired card, claiming someone could use my unactivated new card without a PIN or again, any of my personal information. I have closed all my accounts with them and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I'll give this 2 stars as they are in the process of fixing the issue.
First off, I sent in my auto payment letter by (snail mail) 2 weeks ago and when I called just a few days before my payment was due they stated they never received it. So, Instead of missing a payment I made my payment thru my debit card and was charged another $10 fee to do so.
Secondly,
I looked a t my bank account and realized they took out my payment from the snail mail letter I sent. So they charged me twice. Had to call in and ask to reverse my funds. Thats going to be a 3 days process. Unfortunately, looks like they don't pay attention to what they do there. I'll be looking to get out of this loan from them and go with someone else as soon as I can.
I don't do good with incompetence, sorry..

Terrible service, having not missed a single payment on anything in the last 5 years, they shut off my auto pay and result in me damaging my own credit score for incompetence on their end. Was going to take a business loan out but will be taking business elsewhere
