Is Rainbow Dark Dragon an ultimate crystal monster? ›

(This card is always treated as an "Ultimate Crystal" card.) Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 7 DARK monsters with different names from your GY.

(Quick Effect): You can send all "Crystal Beast" monsters you control to the GY; this card gains 1000 ATK for each monster sent to the GY. You can banish all "Crystal Beast" monsters from your GY; shuffle all cards on the field into the Deck.

Rainbow Dragon, known as Ultimate Gem God - Rainbow Dragon in the Japanese version, is a character version of the card "Rainbow Dragon" in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008.

Jesse Anderson uses this card in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008. His Tag Partner is Jaden Yuki.

Its most notable aspect was its durability, having the hardest skin out of all of Suguru's cursed spirits. It was also decently fast and strong, being able to smash into and destroy stone structures.

This card can only be Special Summoned by the method described in its text. Even if this card is Special Sumoned once, it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with effects like "Monster Reborn".

It's a fine support card for Crystal Beasts, finally giving the archetype another monster that's a Crystal Beast by name to run for Rainbow Dragon, and it's easily better than 5 of the 7 Crystal Beasts we already had.

There are many different rare dragons, but to get rainbow or double rainbow dragons, you have to use 4 of the elements fire, water, earth and air, or dark, light, metal, lightning. Longer breeding and incubating times means a better dragon, and you need a rainbow habitat for them.

"Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragon" can Special Summon another "Crystal Beast" monster from the Deck while adding an "Ultimate Crystal" monster from the Deck by banishing itself as a Continuous Spell (placed there either with "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" or "Crystal Bond").

This monster is the only form of "Rainbow Dragon" which can be Special Summoned easily by its own effects, but features the worst drawbacks. Because of this, this is the only counterpart of "Rainbow Dragon" that is not an "Ultimate Crystal" monster.

If a Fusion Monster(s) you control that lists "Elemental HERO Neos" as material would be destroyed by battle or card effect, or shuffled into the Extra Deck by its own effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead. (This card is always treated as an "Ultimate Crystal" card.)

When your Crystal Beast monster is destroyed by battle, you can activate Ultimate Crystal Magic to send the 7 different Crystal Beasts from your hand, Deck, or field to your Graveyard and Fusion Summon Rainbow Overdragon from your Extra Deck.
