1.

Speed Farming

The GoD Hungering Arrow Demon Hunter deals with regular Rift farming quite well allthe way through the highest Torments and is very adept at farming low tierGreater Rifts for Paragon levels and legendary gem upgrades, making it aviable build for any speed farming task. We have solo speed GR rankings and solo speed T16 rankings if youwant to know more about which builds are best for speed farming.

Within the limited scope of regular difficulties, the necessary damage andtoughness to triumph over the enemy is significantly smaller. Thus, your bestcourse of action is to improve utility and speed.

Adapting Rotation

When you are speed farming regular rifts, parts of your playstyle willadapt to the lowered challenge and focus more on speed and utility.

The major dynamic of the build remains largely the same, as you willGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (19) Strafe from fight to fight and spread your deadlyGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (20) Hungering Arrow shots through the set mechanic. You will be focusing alot more on movement and utility, of course, and alongside the usualon-cooldown activations of GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (21) Vengeance, you will also be usingGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (22) Smoke Screen GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (23) Displacement quite liberally, counterbalanced withGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (24) Preparation GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (25) Focused Mind to offset the cost. You will be allowed muchgreater freedom of movement due to the interaction between GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (26) Smoke Screenand GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (27) Tactical Advantage, and you will fuel your mobility via yourGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (28) Avarice Band-augmented pickup radius and its interaction withGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (29) Blood Vengeance.

3.

Adapting Skills

Parts of the skill and passive selection will overlap with the base GreaterRift progression build, but others will have to change according to the taskat hand. Ability to cross over great distances faster and more efficientlytake precedence.

  • The main interaction of the build — the one betweenGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (30) Hungering Arrow GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (31) Devouring Arrow and GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (32) Strafe GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (33) Drifting Shadow —remains unchanged, and both skills and their rune selection will be staples inyour speed farming runs.
  • GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (34) Vengeance GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (35) Dark Heart is an omnipresent self-buff in all versions ofthe build.
  • You can keep GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (36) Companion in the build, but opt for the flavorful andspeed farming-appropriate rune GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (37) Ferret Companion, which bolsters yourmovement speed.
  • Both GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (38) Fan of Knives and GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (39) Shadow Power from the progressionbuild are far too tanky for the requirements of speed runs, so it is advisableto swap these skills out for GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (40) Smoke Screen and GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (41) Preparation, respectively. GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (42) Smoke Screen will provide you with another burst of speedthrough the rune GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (43) Displacement, while GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (44) Preparation will offsetthe cost of the former with the abundant Discipline regeneration of theGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (45) Focused Mind rune.
  • As far as passive selection goes, you will keep GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (46) Ambush from thebase build for its massive upfront burst potential. It is also advisable touse GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (47) Awareness to prevent any mishaps; overconfidence is an easypitfall when you start to comfortably trample the content, but the DH remainsa rather glassy and burst-prone class. The remainder of your passives willease your farming considerably. GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (48) Tactical Advantage offers a nice speedboost whenever you pop GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (49) Smoke Screen. GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (50) Blood Vengeance will notonly expand your Hatred pool, but also enables a GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (51) Reaper's Wraps-likeeffect that replenishes both Hatred and Discipline when picking up healthglobes. This passive will benefit immensely from the cubed GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (52) Avarice Bandand result in stable resources despite the heavy spending in speedruns.

You will still be taking advantage of the full 6-piece set bonuses of Gears of Dreadlands, incorporatingfive of the six pieces that you would in progression, but equippingGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (53) Depth Diggers instead of GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (54) Cold Cathode Trousers. WearingGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (55) Depth Diggers allows you to run another speed run-synergistic power inthe armor slot of the Cube, as discussed below. Of course, that necessitatesthat you complete the GoD powers by cubing a GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (56) Ring of Royal Grandeur.

In speed farm, it is advisable to abandon the damage reduction from theGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (57) Wraps of Clarity in favor of GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (58) Warzechian Armguards, for theenvironment destruction speed buffs that are easily provided by the AoE ofthis build. The former favorites, the elite spawning GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (59) Nemesis Bracers, are still very valuable, but they can now be equipped on the follower whilestill getting their bonus via the Emanate mechanics. You shouldstill equip them in groups, where you cannot have a follower with you. TheGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (60) Nemesis Bracers value comes from the additional loot — not tomention progression — coming from the extra elite spawns. They let youfinish standard rifts that much faster, and acquire the coveted GR keys ingreater amounts.

It should be noted that your jewelry during farming can still be theBastions of Will set (GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (61) Focus and GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (62) Restraint); however, onceyou perfect your character and no longer want for burst, you should useutility-focused jewelry instead. A combination of GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (63) Avarice Band and aCold damage GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (64) Stone of Jordan is a nice alteration. The union ofGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (65) Avarice Band with GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (66) Boon of the Hoarder will greatly improve yourspeed, as well as feed into your gold reserve for the costly GR empowerments. The Cold SoJ will simply be a consistent, care-free damage increase as youfarm.

To help with your Hatred management, it is recommended that you swap yourweaponry setup into a worn GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (67) Yang's Recurve andGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (68) The Ninth Cirri Satchel combo. While it might seem counterintuitive atfirst due to its GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (69) Multishot-oriented bonuses, GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (70) Yang's Recurvebrings a massive innate Resource Cost Reduction roll, which greatly assitsyour Hatred management during farming.

Altar of Rites

The former Season 28 theme, the Altar of Rites, has been revised andre-added to Diablo 3 as a permanent character progression mechanic. — Forvirtually all builds and players of all skill levels — from casual toadvanced — we recommend progressing through the Altar tree using the pathoutlined below. The suggested path is geared towards maximum quality of lifefirst, then amplifying damage, and then mopping up the tree with defensive andedge case utility nodes.

Note that while they require reaching them with a Seal, Legendary PotionPowers are not part of the Seal cost system; Potions unlock with a separateresource called Primordial Ashes, obtained from salvaging Legendary or Setitems of Primal (red bordered) quality. Upgrade them as soon as possible, andin the order shown below (courtesy of Caleko's Altar of Rites planner).

Adapting Gems

GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (89) Taeguk and GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (90) Simplicity's Strength both still bring excellentdamage multiplication and protective utility to the build in speed farming.

In normal rifts, the third gem slot should be taken byGoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (91) Boon of the Hoarder. This high utility gem feeds you practically infinitegold and gives you a massive short-term speed boost while picking it up,automated by a worn GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (92) Avarice Band. If you are doing GR speed farming inlower tiers for XP and gem ups, you should slot GoD Hungering Arrow Speed Farming Demon Hunter Build (93) Bane of the Trapped here.
