History[]
Background[]
Edmund is a profoundly disturbed individual who took to murdering victims in elaborate and vicious ways, his favored method was to tie a victims torso up while leaving messages behind - he'd also nail their decapitated heads nearby with a map, three such bodies were found in this manner and the map revealed clues to Edmund's hideout as well as having the taunt of "can you find me?" painted in blood on the back.
Red Dead Redemption II[]
While investigating Edmund's hideout the player finds many mutilated bodies as well as a letter from Edmund's mother, which reveals his troubled mind and her concerns. The letter is also what first tips players off to his true identity.
Edmund then ambushes the player and tries to kill them, but is overpowered and hogtied. He is then taken to the sheriff, where he reveals his full name and warns the player to remember it. When he is promptly taken away and nearly locked up, he goes into a frenzy and attacks the sheriff in an attempt to kill him, only to be shot dead by Sheriff Malloy or the player in the resulting chaos.
