I have never seen one of those…. With a side induction I bet it fouls plugs like crazy. Great shape.

Actually the rotary valve engine worked pretty good! The Hatta front forks on the other hand gave the owner the ability to make it handle in various stages of BAD! You could move the axle either in front of the plane of the axle, inline or trailing.... look at the bottom of the fork leg to get the idea if you've never seen one. I wanted one badly, but never could buy one in my youth! I think I may have been spared by a higher authority! They were affectionately coined as the "Pig Horn"!

Here is Super Hunky's take on the F7 175 that had the same essential setup... http://articles.superhunky.com/4/133

My father-in law had a Big Horn for a short time. They were stout for the time, and were good flat track but not great in the boonies. Kawasaki also had the Green Streak and the Centurion, both rotary engines. I had a Centurion and tried to dirt bike it and never did get comfortable on it. About 18 HP and no torque. Was a great flat track bike though, just not with me onboard.

A friend had one of those. He crashed a lot in the woods. I never even sat in it so no idea if it was the bike or the rider at fault.

I think so too. I miss the kick start option too; can be a life saver when you have a dead battery in deep East Texas sand!

That silencer and plate are both the largest I have ever seen on a dirt bike. Strange. I have been plating bikes since '66 and have never had one that size and I don't think it is the pic.

I didn't look at the other pics, but you're right.
