Effect[]

Generation VIII[]

Bitter Malice inflicts damage and has a 30% chance (50% chance in the strong style) to leave the target with frostbite. The move's power is doubled if the target has a status condition.

Generation IX[]

Bitter Malice's PP and power were changed to 10 and 75, respectively. It no longer powers up if the target has a status condition, and it instead lowers the target's Attack by one stage.

Generation AN-I[]

Bitter Malice's PP and power changes remain from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. However, due to the reinclusion of frostbite, it once more has a 30% chance to leave the target with frostbite. Its power only doubles if the opponent has frostbite, though.
