Buying all Areas with Crowns |2019 Edition|

Recently I've been going around trying to figure how many crowns it takes to buy every area, and all I've found on the forums are varying answers. So after doing a calculation of every single area in Wizard101 currently, the grand total for every area comes to a good ol' 301,510 Crowns, which is roughly $350~. (It would've been $175~ with that holiday promo, but that's gone)
So, if you're planning on playing wiz for only a year or so, get a membership. It'll save you quite a lot. Not to mention that you can get into PVP for free.

Re: Buying all Areas with Crowns |2019 Edition|

Actually it cost 179,275 crowns to buy all the worlds and dungeons from Wizard City to Empyrea part 2. That is about $180.00 if you get the crowns on sale at 60,000 for $60.00, that sale comes often.
So ya, if you only plan on playing a year or two get a membership.
But who knows how long you will play?
And if you play two years and decide to come back in maybe 2 or three years you have to get another membership.

The first account I got on membership for a year to see if I liked it. Then bought the worlds the second year.
So if you do the math it has cost me about $180.00 to maintain over 10 years, that is about $18.00 a year and the new world or dungeons usually run about $10.00 to $15.00. Pvp is 80 crowns a match that is 8 cents each or 240 for the day, that is 24 cents. The only thing that cost more is tournaments at 849 each, 85 cents. but you can get a month subscription if you want to do them for a while at $4.95 on sale or $10.00 regular monthly price.

I do not know where you came up with the figures?

Well, what I did was go through each world on www.wizard101.com/game/area-pricing and add up every single area. I can do the calculations yet again, but I'm fairly confident in my first.

Okay, your calculations are clearly wrong, as I have just done mine again to make sure I was accurate. These are specific calculations for each area.
Wizard City - 5250
Krokotopia - 18300
Wysteria - 3000
Mooshu - 14400
Celestia - 22035
Grizzleheim & Wintertusk - 29925
Azteca - 25935
Polaris - 17955
Empyrea - 29925
4 Dungeons - 8980
Aquila - 9735
Marleybone - 16800
Dragonspyre - 15600
Zafaria - 20340
Avalon - 25425
Khrysalis - 25935
Mirage - 11970
All together it is still 301,510.

Oh wait, I think I've been misreading the areas on the area pricing.
Hmm.
Fatal error on my part actually.

I think the reason you're getting over 300k is because most of the places are in bundles, not individual. Keep that in mind. Like Empyrea it's not 29925, it's like 12k
