Pizza restaurant

Italian restaurant

Delivery Restaurant

The Pie is a family-friendly pizzeria that serves delicious thin-crust, brick-oven pizzas and pasta dishes in a casual setting. Their coal-fired pizzas have crusts that are both puffy and substantial, with a satisfying texture. The menu offers a variety of options, including complex pies like Buffalo and barbecue chicken, but the simplest choice, the classic Margherita pizza, is truly exceptional. Alongside the pizzas, customers can also enjoy appetizers, salads, and pastas.

We stopped by The Pie for lunch on Friday and loved it so much we returned with friends for dinner on Saturday! Both meals were delicious--we enjoyed calamari, salad, pizza, and pasta, you really cannot go wrong! Besides the food and ambiance, what made our experience even more worthy than five stars both times was our server, Jenny. She was very efficient and kind; I know we only met her twice, but Jenny seems like she is one of those people who has a gift to just brighten the room and make you smile. On Saturday, the manager checked on our table and he was very pleasant as well. This was an overall exemplary dining experience!

I ordered off Uber eats. The food was cold but I won’t blame the pizza place, it was probably a long drive. But it was still really good, probably a lot better hot. Would def order again but maybe stop in instead of delivery.

The joy of a converted parking lot to an outdoor eatery continues! A nice tent-tall and spacious, some outdoor greenery...voila! The wait staff is friendly and helpful, the food in the wonderful days just tastes better! Pizza plus! Nice portions, cold beverages and good value!

This place was decent. We ordered apps and entrees.Risotto rice balls - goodMozzarella en Carozza - was NOT mozzarella in carozza, but more like fried fresh mozzarella. Good for what it was.Bruschetta - very goodCoal fired Supreme Pizza - we ordered it with no olives. First one came out with olives, they redid it and gave the error to the employees, which I thought was nice. Pepperoni was too spicy for me, but I ate it anyway, because the pizza was EXCELLENT. Makes me wish I ordered a different one to bring home.Gnocchi with bolognese - was okay. Needed salt.Chicken rollatini - pretty good. Needed salt (most things did all around), but the flavor was there. One piece of chicken slightly burnt, but the other looked good.Lasagna - my sister said it tasted like there was something wrong with it. They took it off the bill and offered her something else. She opted for chicken francese.Unfortunately, I can't tell you how the chicken francese was, because while we were waiting for it to come out, they started mopping the place with bleach. It's good to know that they're taking covid precautions with bleach, but establishments should wait for the customers to leave before they do that.We asked the waiter to box up the francese because of the smell. If his own volition, he informed the manager what hearkened, and the manager was very nice and comped the francese, even though she didn't have to.All in all, I would recommend this place if only for their pizza. Their food was decent, but the pizza shouldn't be missed.

Beautiful place, unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations. Ordered the verde pizza. Tastless. Definitely missing something. For my little one I ordered chicken fingers and fries. Chicken tasted like absolutely nothing. No wonder why she didn’t eat it. French fries were good though. You would expect some bread/garlic knots while you wait, but did not receive any. Kind of weird.

Mikaela Carvalho — Google review

When I saw the beautiful interior, the higher-end pricing, and the stonebrick oven, I was totally expecting a double or triple fermented Neapolitan pie. Nope. Not even close. Dough is as tasteless as any generic pizzeria. This was my first time deciding to try another pizzeria other than Colosseo a few minutes away. Colosseo dances circles around this place in taste, options, dough, everything really, and it does it for way, way less. Service was excellent, super friendly and fast. It's just that there's no way the quality of pies is justified by the price.

My boyfriend and I have gone here twice so far and we absolutely love it here!! The place is beautiful and very cozy, the staff is amazing, (We love Kerri!! She is amazing!!!), and the food is delicious!!! We will definitely be coming back again very very soon!!!

Rebecca Ryan — Google review

We ordered garlic aioli calamari which was just okay (lightly breaded which was good but the squid was too soft...) Which is the only reason for the 4 star. My party of 2 ordered a medium clam pizza (we were hoping to be experimental) and the waiter said we could do it half white half red pizza, which was a good choice because we were able to try both versions. The pizza was very good and a medium was more than enough for the two of us! Setting was cozy and family friendly. House wine was also good.

Real brick oven pizza!Great pies! Great service!

NEVER AGAIN will I be ordering here. It’s over priced. Don’t waste your time here.I spent $200 on a Mother’s Day dinner tonight for my family, only to receive broken mussel shells all in my pasta. I quite literally choked about 3 times before I had to throw the entire dish out. EVERY BITE HAD BROKEN SHELLS IN IT. ALL OF THE SEAFOOD TASTED LIKE RUBBER. The chicken francese was dry & chewy and the penne was undercooked. Also this is the first time I’ve ordered from an Italian restaurant & didn’t receive any complimentary bread with our food. Extremely disappointed & dissatisfied with our meal.*Edit* one of my guests just vomited from the seafood. 😑

Maria B — Google review

Pizza is a gift from God, it's definitely has a rich flavor especially with the margaritas pie. Exceptional service and the atmosphere is beautiful for a couple. The salad was a surprise as well.

Joel Monserrate — Google review

I really enjoyed this place. The Classic Margherita pizza was really good and the bread was super fresh. The service couldn’t get much better either. I definitely recommend this place for a small or large Italian tasting. No slices, pies only.

David Ryan — Google review

Pizza ok, but certainly not worth the price. Large pie with one topping, 2 chocolate milks, 2 unsweetened icea teas = 53.00 plus $10.00 tip= 63.00.. for a pizza and couple of drinks... total rip off.

jcolasante — Google review

I think that the food was very very good. I love pizza and I have one more thing to say do you like Harry Potter for the owner of the place please answer me back do you like Harry Potter? ☺️😌💕❤️👍😘

Ramen restaurant

Japanese restaurant

Restaurant

Soup restaurant

Slurp Ramen is a vibrant and uncomplicated self-service eatery that specializes in authentic Japanese ramen, rice bowls, and pork buns. Located in Port Jeff, it offers a delightful dining experience with its delectable offerings. The chicken karaage bowl stands out as an exceptional rendition of traditional Japanese fried chicken, reminiscent of the real thing found in Japan. The taste may vary slightly but remains consistently excellent.

Delicious ramen!! I got the slurp spicy and my boyfriend got the slurp classic (see pictures). Both dishes were incredible. Service was super friendly and fast. Atmosphere very clean and appealing. Absolutely no complaints and cannot wait to go back!

Erin Campbell — Google review

Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Sunday in Port Jeff. Was completely blown away. Their chicken karaage bowl is probably one of the best versions of traditional Japanese fried chicken outside of the real thing in Japan. The taste varied slightly, but consistency is on point. Will most certainly be back. Nassau needs a location!

Robert Torossian — Google review

I love Slurp! My last stop was on Saturday February 24th, 2024 on my way home from taking ferry. I was able to use the parking easily to order inside and take to go. Food was ready quickly and it was still delicious by the time I got home 15 minutes later. I would recommend that you park elsewhere as the parking is a nightmare but otherwise it’s delicious!

Marlene is Key — Google review

We ordered 2 karage bowls w/ extra chicken for pickup. About 95% of the chicken was raw and we already have eaten a few before noticing the pink skin when my girlfriend went to inspect it further. We were beyond shocked of how almost all the chicken was raw, some didn’t even look cooked! Because of their odd hours, they were already closed and weren’t open the next few days. As for us, the next few days we had stomach issues and when we did have a chance to call, we were shocked that mgmt disregarded our concern and health. They also refused to refund us, stating we were at fault. Please check your chicken from slurp before eating!

David Lewis Ramirez-Lopez — Google review

I liked how there was the option to sit down and order through an online menu to get your food brought to the table. Ordered the slurp classic. The chicken was a little overcooked for my taste so the noodles were my favorite part. I also got a chicken bun and the flavor was spot on delicious!

Jennifer Williams — Google review

Nice spot in a shopping center with parking in front. The soy sauce ramen with fried chicken tasted average. The soup base was watery & not much texture as a Ramen soup should be.Our group of 10 rode 52 rides from lake success to indulge in a bowl of ramen. Majority opinion was good or average, not great.Likely need to try a different dish on future visit to be fair.

Frugal Cyclist — Google review

Slurp has vegan options. They have siracha sauce and chopsticks too. Food is always hot. Consistently full bowls. They recently remodeled their store and their bathroom is really nice. I would recommend this place to people. You can go in and scan a QR code to order food.

Crystal kraemer — Google review

Limited variety of soups. Only pork and Chicken. Take out style setup with seats available to eat in. Soups were ok for the price. Not great😙😏. Fried Calamari was good. Spicy soup was not spicy as expected. No Beef options.

Lij T — Google review

Very good food! I got the “Slurp Spicy Ramen” and it was very good for the price although there was little to no spice in it. The workers were very nice and helping. also they played one piece music for some reason.

mw — Google review

This ramen spot is a bit small but it has delicious Ramen! I ordered the vegan spicy ramen and it was very flavorful and filling. The spice level was just right. The service is like a cross between regular table service and takeout, you order at the counter or using the website and they bring your order out to your table. I got my food super fast. I think this is by design and it works very well. They have other items on the menu such as curry bowls and even curry-style ramen.

Najeeb Abdullah — Google review

So, this is the only ramen place in Port Jefferson area (atleast that's what I am aware of) and naturally extremely busy! I had their slurp ramen with karaage chicken. It was good, just what I was hoping for on a cold winter evening. However, it was served warm and not as piping hot as I would have loved for sure. Nevertheless the quality of food and ambience is definitely worth giving the place a try!..

Pallavi Saha — Google review

every single time this place is never disappoints. They've been here a long time and I expect them to be here for years to come!

Zachary Brown — Google review

Vibes - Immaculate. Tastes - Authentic and affordable. Customer Service - Charming and welcoming. If I ever come by this way again, I'll be sure to visit.PS: Park elsewhere. Your 3 point turn will turn into a 15+ point turn as you try to escape the small parking lot.

Jackie — Google review

We got the Hawaiian BBQ Bowl. Delicious! We slay tried the Chicken Bao Bun and that was tasty as well. Fast service and friendly staff.

Rosie Inserra — Google review

Stopped in and ordered a few to go... Food was prepared correctly, arrived Hot and surprisingly looked like the photos! Staff was cordial and informative... Prices were about average. We will definitely be visiting again.

Bakery

Torte Jeff Pie Co. is a vintage kitchenware shop that specializes in delicious pies. The charming little bakery offers a variety of flavors including apple crumb, strawberry-rhubarb, Key lime, banana-cream, lemon-meringue, and savory options like brisket or chicken pot pie. Customers are recommended to pre-order whole pies but can also purchase slices on impulse.

Took a tour of Port Jefferson yesterday, May 2. My first stop was this quaint little bakery. The cases were lined with a selection of colorful and enticing pastries of all kinds. I had my heart set on an apple pie since before I came in though. I was astonished to be given the most beautiful, massive fresh apple pie I had ever seen. This 9 inch pie had real weight to it; my arm was getting tired carrying it back to my car. When I got home and cut into it, I could see all the individual slices of apples, very large ones at that. It was the best apple pie I’ve ever had. I had stopped by Port Jeff last week as well and the owner had a collection of cute soaps in her shop as well as many other interesting gifts. That time I got a small chocolate cake type pastry. It was also truly delicious. Will be back for sure.

Aaliyah Rakeem — Google review

Stopped in here on a whim last week and was surprised by how cute it was inside. It was my moms birthday, so I thought I’d bring her some extra sweets since everything looked good. I got 2 cupcakes, which were huge, and 2 slices of strawberry shortcake. Both of which looked lovely. I was blown away by the affordability, it was only $18 for all my items, bakeries near me would charge $30 at least. The quality for the price is amazing! Everything was really good and I will definitely come back in the future! Highly recommend!

Skyler V — Google review

Easily one of my favorite spots in Port Jeff. First the place is adorable, they have a great selection of sweets and pies. It's always so hard to choose just one. Not one desert is better than the next. Today we got the pop tart brownie which I wouldn't share with my husband. The strawberry shortcake brownie which was even better and a chocolate crumb cake that my husband devoured. We can't wait for our next visit !

Amanda ?Callahan_K9? Callahan — Google review

Lisa, the owner of Torte Jeff has created one of my favorite bakeries. Any dessert I get is always fresh, creative, and delicious. I got European hot chocolate with my boyfriend during the ice festival, and I swear that it was the best hot chocolate I ever had. I also love her Morning Sunshine protein cookies after I workout.

Ivory Tower Boiler Room (Dr. Andrew Rimby) — Google review

It's such a charming little spot that steals your attention with its bright floral decorations. Inside are lots of really yummy looking baked goods from cookies and brownies to slices of cake and miniature pies. The staff I interacted with today was also super lovely ❤️

Cidalia Silva — Google review

So walking around in Port Jeff this morning looking for a store my daughter heard about we decided to stop in and check out Torte Jeff Pie Co. Again. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a lovely young lady named Keri. We found out later that she is actually the baker. Each wanted something sweet and I knew I had to get some of the banana pudding to take home.Keri not only took her time to explain what each item in the case was but gave us recommendations based upon what we told her we like. She was spot on.This store is an eclectic collection of so many different items. Every time I looked on a shelf I found something else I wanted to try.We picked up three donuts, an order of cinnamon buns and a few other little things. The kids tore into the donuts before I could get some pictures so I apologize. Please excuse my half-eating donuts and children's faces. My something sweet was the banana pudding. The banana pudding is one of my favorite desserts no matter where it is but the one made here is out of this world great. If you are a fan of banana pudding definitely check out the one from here.

Literally incredible. Vibe is so cute, pastries are sooo delicious! They are very friendly and have really cute little items for sale as well! Perfect at Christmas time. 🎄

Kathryn S — Google review

Don't bother to call this place. You'll get a voicemail box specifically stating that they will not listen to their messages. If and when they call you back their lack of professionalism is astounding. That's all it takes to keep me from going there!

Mary Mares — Google review

Pre-packaged rice krispy treats were compressed, gummy and stale - ugh! The rustic apple and pear tart was under-baked - the pale crust (no egg wash or sanding sugar!) should have been the tip-off: the crust had zero crispness or flakiness and the bottom was mushy and damp, and the apples were still a bit raw. The final customer experience turn off was that the tart was put in a box that was taped shut with a heavy duty sealing label that could not be simply torn off or undone with your fingers, it required a blade to cut it; I've never seen anything like that on a bakery product. The Moroccan lentil dry soup mix was the best thing we bought at Torte Jeff.

We picked this place since it was right on the water and looked quite popular. Which it must of been since we were informed that the wait would be over an hour! To be fair, it was prime dinner time (around 6ish) during Labor Day weekend. They said we could put our names down and they would text us when a table was ready so we ended up walking around town until we got the text.We had a great spot by the water. There weren’t any specials which I found a little strange since it seemed like the place to have a special seafood or steak dish. The menu wasn’t big and it didn’t feel very “Long Island” to me. Between the wait, the lack of specials, and underwhelming menu, I was not looking forward to our meals. We started with a bottle of wine, baked clams and burrata. When the food came, I realized that Wave might just prove me wrong. Both apps were great!!! The burrata especially. For dinner we got two flat iron steaks and salmon. The steaks were great and perfectly cooked. Not chewy at all. They didn’t come with a full side, they were just served with some onion strings, 3-4 small mushrooms, and 2 small roasted peppers. It was enough food but i still wish it came with a potato dish. I don’t eat seafood but my companions said the salmon was to die for. It was a big fillet and had a lot of cous cous and veggies. Well worth the money for dishes despite. We topped the meal off with a chocolate bundt cake, which, while small, was just enough to satisfy us.Overall, I was very surprised with Wave. My companions agreed that the food was worth the wait. I recommend putting your name down (or just making a reservation) then walking around town or the nearby park until your called. It’s really worth it!

Mari Baci — Google review

The servers were extremely friendly and attentive. We were seated and greeted immediately upon entering. The wait staff consistently made their rounds to ensure drinks were refilled. The food and drinks were delicious. We had dinner and breakfast the following morning and I can’t say enough good things about the service and food served. Thanks for making our stay even more enjoyable!

1.5 - maybe 2 Stars = Not worth the money or the wait. The BADI had the $20 fish and chips and it was worse than Ms. Paul's frozen fish sticks. Worst ever. Just fries and 3 old Fry grease laden saturated old filets inside a thick sponge of a crust. I choked down one. the fries were ok. Just ok. But the taste of the filet ruined anything else. I should have returned it and gotten something else but I would still be sitting there as everyone left the restaurant. Not worth $3 for this awful meal. I am a fish and chip connoisseur. This was a travesty for a seafood restaurant.the GOODHowever the Salmon my mom had was great. But the star here was the Mussel appetizer. Definitely the highlight. Sweet and garlicky broth served with bread to dip. Excellent to superb.THE UGLYMy Dad had a $48 steak that was tough and the knifes couldn't cut butter. dumped on a plate with just fries. Presentation is lack luster at best. He sawed away at it as we held the table from shaking to give him stability.Atmosphere:Sunset is stellar here - you are paying for the location for sure but this was one of the worst premium real state dockside restaurants I have been too in awhile or ever.Verdict:If it isn't busy - which it always is because of the location. Just get the Mussels and go somewhere else for the main course. or Hard pass. Hit or miss - Too many misses to make it above 2 stars.

Some of the fastest and most attentive service I have ever received. The food is exquisite, even to someone like me who is picky with seafood options. I hope to be back again (and to stay at the hotel!).

Had a lovely dinner at this place with tasty food. The views of water is Amazing too.Pretty decent co*cktails and lovely entrée.Service is a bit slow but nothing negative about it. Place is dimly lit which makes it a nice romantic restaurant.Prices are on higher side.

Ok took a ride to Port Jefferson to have apps and drinks for my best friend's Birthday. As pricey as they are the food is not that great. The calamari didn't seem fresh it was over cooked to my liking it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. We ordered these crab corn fritters I didn't taste any crab. The Octopus was good but it needed sauce. I didn't like the stuffed clams or stuffies as they called them. The drinks were good and creative..The service was outstanding absolutely amazing the waitress was very attentive.

Danford’s is always a mixed bag for me. This time it was better than expected. We made reservations on open table for outdoor seating. I believe the restaurant changed hands in the last year or so…When we arrived there was a line of people waiting for tables. When we made it to the host we were seated quickly.Wait services was slow. However it was a busy night and the view and music made the wait a non-issue.What we ordered:Raw Oysters - We love oysters and ordered 2 orders (6 each). We should have only ordered one order. On each plate there were 3 good size and clean oysters and 3 small/maybe mutilated-with shell bits that should have been tossed.Lobster RollsGood and as expectedFish and ChipsStandard classicTruffle FriesYummy shoe string style tossed in truffle oil.SouffléTwo soufflé options: chocolate or caramelBoth had same soufflé base with different sauces. They were not risen and had a scoop of ice cream over the top (assuming to hide the flat dense desert). If this is the standard they should rename the dessert to “pudding”.DrinksUsual stuff on tapSpecialty drinks were nice. Back up your drink when you’re halfway done.MusicWe were lucky to be there when a guy on a guitar was playing Dave Mathew’s to current tunes.PuppiesLots of tiny show dogs on peoples laps and under chairs. All well behaved :-)Wait staff was very kind. Manager stopped out to apologize for the wait between courses.Pro Tip: Port Jefferson village has limited parking, so it is essential you arrive early. There have been occasions when we have actually left Port Jefferson because we couldn’t find parking anywhere.

Kristen Slevin — Google review

The hostess was nice when we got there, and waiter was really professional and friendly, and food was great! However, we came at 6:01pm, our reservation was at 6:15, our order was taken at 6:40pm. Usually, it’s fine, who cares if it’s busy what are you going to do.. However, our mains were served at 7:50pm after 2 other tables that were seated at least 15 mins after we were seated. And, there was not plenty of other people of color in the restaurant at the time. The two other tables with all white persons were already finishing up on their desserts, while our mains were getting served after we had to ask the waiter how much longer for our main. I think the ribs were amazing, but I definitely did not like that we had to call our waiter over to ask about our main and MOST ESPECIALLY that we were a big group of asian people and two other tables with no minorities were served quickly and efficiently. We rented this place out in 2018 for a party and it was great then. Would I go back? No, definitely not. Never paying $700 again for the dinner and service that we received. I want to make a point that it isn’t the waiter’s fault, he seemed very busy serving way too much tables for only being by himself. Management should do better. Not sure if the food was actually taking long, because from my end, it seemed deeper than that. None of my family and friends are going back.

Paula — Google review

The seafood was excellent, very fresh and tasty. We were a party of three and ordered appetizers and entrees. The shrimp co*cktail and the fried calamari appetizers were absolutely perfect. The table ordered a lobster plate, lobster roll and fish+chips - again all perfect.*Gratuity is included on the bill.*The ladies bathroom was clean as well.*Tables outside are widely spaced and your party will be far from others.*The service was friendly and attentive.

Eleni Palmos — Google review

I made a reservation for 7:30 for the same day I called and was pleasantly surprised that I got it. I told the person who answered that it was a very special day - our 25th anniversary, the Silver Anniversary - and we'd like their best table with a view. Again, I was very happy to get it. We arrived in Port Jefferson early and called them to see if we could get in earlier; they said no, they were booked up but come anyway and sit at the bar for a drink. We took a chance and came at 7:00 and again were happy to be seated at a table then. We picked this restaurant because their online menu had lobster and scallops entrees, which we love. After being seated and looking at their menu we discovered those dishes weren't listed nor available. We asked, they said they JUST changed to new menus 2 days ago and hadn't yet changed it on their website. We were really disappointed but OK, ordered other acceptable entrees. Our waitress was highly apologetic. Of course it wasn't her fault management failed to keep their site menu current. Our view was OK but due to blinds on the adjacent window it was somewhat obstructed. Our drinks and entrees came and we enjoyed the meal. The food was delicious, the service very good. But a neighboring table wanted the blinds to be completely CLOSED because the setting sun was in their eyes; the staff complied but so then we had NO VIEW. Again, disappointed. After clouds obscured the sun I asked for the blinds to be completely drawn up, which the server did and the unobstructed view was lovely. Too bad we had nearly finished our meal by then. But the food and service were so good and the full view FINALLY was open to us, we overlooked all our disappointments for our special dinner and left a nice generous tip. If the menu had been updated to show there was no lobster nor scallops we might not have gone to this restaurant for something special. So, 3.5-4 stars.

RUVO is a local eatery and bar chain that offers both à la carte and fixed-price Italian menus in a cozy ambiance. It is renowned for its exceptional level of customer service, which is efficient and unobtrusive. The atmosphere at RUVO is particularly inviting for Sunday lunches, creating an enjoyable dining experience. Although the co*cktails are not outstanding, they are still good with diverse options to choose from.

The food here is delicious but what really sets it apart is the incredible level of service they provide. The minute you walk in the door you get a warm welcome from the hostess. Ever member of the waitstaff is incredible including the bus staff and food runners.

Steve Mandresh — Google review

Went for restaurant week. They had a great price fix menu. Portions were huge. Tasted great.

Tiffany Davis — Google review

Ruvo is a unique spot. I like the menu as my best friend and I tend to share appetizers as they’re delicious. The space itself is cozy and very intimate, I try to go on a weekday as it gets very busy weekends. The restroom is awkward, but beyond repair as the space doesn’t allow for change and the parking can be a nightmare over weekend. I believe the service could be improved with more attentive staff that is a bit more cautious of their service, but overall it’s always a good experience.

Excellent Sunday Brunch! Normally I enjoy a Sunday Brunch buffet but if you are looking for a great sit down Sunday Brunch, you must try Ruvo! The brunch menu is varied and very unique- it has a mix of classic brunch dishes as well as some new takes on traditional delights. Each meal comes with a delicious Sunday Brunch drink or mock tail- every drink was fantastic, I highly recommend the mock tails! We had a great waitress who was both friendly and knowledgeable. Reservations are easy and brunch is from 11am until 3pm. Like many other reviews, the ambiance of Ruvo is something special. Normally my wife and I eat dinner at Ruvo and this was the first time we were there during the day- the ambiance is alive and well in the day time. We were a party of six and Ruvo was able to accommodate us comfortably. Next time you’re in the village on a Sunday, you must stop by!

The restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a warm and homey atmosphere. The food was delicious, but the calamari fritti was truly exceptional ,a perfect ten out of ten!Our server, Dylan, was absolutely amazing, ensuring we had a wonderful time throughout our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it - 100% - for a cozy date or family dinner perhaps.

My wife and I had a lovely prix fixe new year's eve dinner after a comedy show nearby. There was a delightful live pianist. And the raspberry sorbet and cheesecake were a perfect finale.

Ruvo is the perfect restaurant for Southern Italian food! Not on the busy main street, parking right outside the door, beautiful building... but the main attraction is the food. I've been eating authentic Italian food for 50 years, and their sauce literally had me in tears. The eggplant rollatini was among the best I ever had! Pasta cooked to perfection. And the desserts... I said to my friend "I wish I could stop time, so I can eat this forever."Perfect place for a first date if you really want to impress someone!! Totally recommend & can't wait to go back.

The Fifth Season is a local eatery in Cold Spring Harbor that provides a warm and inviting dining experience. Situated with picturesque views of the harbor, this restaurant offers a diverse menu that changes according to the seasons. Customers can enjoy delicious dishes such as tuna tacos, Thai calamari, rack of lamb, and various steaks. The establishment prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients and aims to provide excellent value for its patrons by offering a prix-fixe menu on selected days.

Very friendly staff, amazing food, and great drinks. Salsa Verde Braised Brandt Farm Short Ribs were phenomenal.

Love the food, drinks, and service at The Fifth Season and can’t wait to go back! This is one of our favorite places at work to take invited speakers and VIP guests out to eat. I’ve enjoyed their salads, salmon, steak, desserts (amazing), and coffee.

We were here for a rehearsal dinner where the family booked upstairs for the event and it was incredible. The food was delicious. The staff were amazing. The drinks were great. And all in all amazing atmosphere as well. Not sure what all is on the regular menu but everything everyone had from our special menu was great!

Michelle Ka — Google review

This is one of our favorite spots. We started with co*cktails and tuna tartare on the veranda. While the flavors were excellent, the portion size was a bit meager for $17 price point. We thought we may have received the happy hour portion vs fullprice portion. From there, we moved to the outdoor seating for dinner. The Burrata appy was sublime- excellent flavors, eggplant accoutrements exceptional. I had the summer gnocchi-the basil cream sauce was excellent-my husband had the sea bass-also excellent. The almond cake dessert was surprisingly light and the ginger sauce added a nice kick. Service was friendly and on point. We’ll be back!

most dishes were sweet !!!Awesome location settings and service. But the majority of what we have tried had sugar in it. We did not enjoy that to be honest. We used to love it and it has become a no go for meals. I’d still go for a drink on the bar for sure.

Great choice for happy hour, where from 4 to 7 on most days there are bar bites and drinks for $8 each. Nice to get a table with a view of the harbor. The music can be too loud at time, which is tough for conversation

Must say this place surprised my wife and I. Our server was named Vinny. Great server very attentive and he knew his menu pretty well. The food as you can see was super delicious. The pate in the beginning with the mini toasted bread slices was unbelievable. The strawberry lemonade was spot on. The seats are pretty small outdoor but comfortable enough to enjoy dinner and the scenery makes it easier to deal with. The wife had a delightful chicken salad. I enjoyed a superb lobster roll with some of the world's most delicious parmesan french fries. The presentation for our little celebration of not only our anniversary but also my birthday was amazing. They served us 4 cups of ice cream that was to die for. Especially the Nutella ice cream. Everything was spectacular. We look forward to returning to this restaurant for another date night. Thank you very much for the experience.

Went to the Fifth Season today to inquire about having our wedding there. We spoke with Owner/Manger Debra. She really made us feel at home and spent the time to answer all our questions. Everything felt right so we booked our event. We also stayed for lunch and I have to say the Wagyu steak sandwich, the Kobe burger, and vegetable sandwich were amazing. Highly recommend the Fifth Season.

Michael Mack — Google review

It was a packed on a Saturday evening. The house-like building and bar has sturdy solid construction and comfortable seating. The vibe and atmosphere is nice but laid back. The proprietor and chef has put in creative effort to provide a few vegan and easily vegan choices, and they have fancy drinks! Dishes are attractively presented. A $12 savings for 3 courses during restaurant week was well worth it. I recommend the Pureed Coconut Cream Carrot Ginger soup with peach gastrique and Stuffed Polenta with grilled asparagus and zucchini, mushroom demi-glace and basil reduction

Pasta Pasta, a well-established establishment on the North Shore, offers its signature dish and a variety of other Italian entrees in an intimate setting. Perfect for romantic evenings, special celebrations like anniversaries or date nights, this restaurant has garnered repeat visits from many patrons over the years. The ambiance is ideal for creating memorable experiences.

I went with my family to celebrate my college graduation. The food was delicious. We had calamari as an appetizer and I ordered the black ravioli with lobster. The service was also great. Our waiter was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner.

I’m still recovering from last night. The best food I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Wow, wow, wow. The mozzarella burrata, THE TIRAMISU, THE CHEESECAKE, THE SURF AND TURF, holy cow everything was amazing. Although our waiter was nice, he wasn’t really around to check up on us, refill our drinks or ask how everything was. However, I would dine here everyday if I could.

Really neat place. It's an older building that they dressed up with lights and hangings. Nice old wide board wooden floors. The pasta tastes home made. My wife had filet mignon tips with mushrooms and mushroom stuffed rigatoni in cream sauce with spinach. Excellent. I had onion soup, Spaghetti with shrimp, calamari, pei muscles in marinara sauce. Also excellent. We split great tartufo for desert and had coffee. The coffee is a strong dark roast. Most enjoyable, highly recommended.

Pasta Pasta is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I was there on Saturday March 16th for an afternoon lunch around 3pm. We were greeted right away and seating just as quickly. Our waitress was attentive and friendly while Anthony also provided us with the lunch menus. We shared all of our food so we could enjoy the amazing CHOCOLATE BAG!!! The space is very cozy and enjoyable and the menu options are incredible! I recommend!

We had the most wonderful dinner here. Even with our two young children in tow, the staff and servers could not have been more kind and attentive. Absolutely the best service that we have experienced in years. Food was delicious and well received by all, from 4 to 40(ish). Based on this experience we would whole-heartedly recommend Pasta Pasta, and we hope to be back as soon as we can.

Evan Field — Google review

Firstly the service was absolutely outstanding. Our waiter knew the menu and was able to make recommendations that were thoughtful, and even when we changed our minds he was able to pivot and make great choices, and the food came fast. I thought the menu had a nice wide selection. Two possible improvements, the no liquor because of proximity to the church is a bizarre rule, but that's more a reflection on the city than the restaurant (their wine list is lovely and fairly priced), and the food could use a bit more spice/flavor (but that could be my palate). Over all, I would visit again if back in this area, and would recommend to a local or traveler as a nice place for dinner

What a wonderful meal! My wife and I had an amazing lunch. We started with calamari that was excellent and moved on to the seafood pizza, which was outstanding. The chicken and pasta was delicious! To top it off, the leftovers tasted great on Monday! So by, you will be so glad that you did!

Celebrating Mother's Day at Pasta Pasta in Port Jeff was an absolute delight! We indulged in their prix fixe three-course menu and every dish was a winner. The fried cauliflower appetizer was crispy and flavorful, the filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and the chocolate mousse was a sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was lovely, adding to the overall experience. Pasta Pasta is definitely a must-visit for delicious food and a great dining atmosphere!Cheers to memorable meals,Marisa Balletti-Lavoie

We've been here several times over the past few years. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night, anniversary, or other special occasion. We actually ate here the night we got engaged. Most recently we had the bacon wrapped shrimp for appetizer, the Filet Minogn with toasted gnocchi for entree, and the sorbet and Canoli for dessert. Oh and of course you can't forget the complimentary garlic bread. It was all exceptional quality and a delicious Christmas date night dinner. Everyone was friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable and prompt. We will undoubtedly be returning to this local gem in the future.

Very nice place to enjoy a meal. Service was great, and the prices are reasonable for the large portions served. I'm definitely making it my favorite place to dine. Parking is tight on the street, but they do have a side lot for all businesses.

Just went here for a birthday after not visiting for a few years. It was awful. Tablecloth stunk of fish when we sat down. Dirty plates. Three of us spit out the baked clams as they were inedible. The veal parm was like cardboard and bland and tasteless. Waitress not very accommodating. When we asked menu questions she stated she didn't know and we had to ask her if she could check before she was willing to do anything. Then got the attitude for the rest of the night. Whatever this place used to be it no longer is....

Pasta pasta has been an absolute favorite spot for me and my fiancé for years now. On the occasion when we try a new restaurant we end up disappointed and say “we should’ve just went to pasta pasta!” Nothing can top their mussels, bacon wrapped shrimp, and of course their bread. Every entree we try becomes our favorite and their desserts are to die for. Portions are perfect as well as the service! Thank you pasta pasta for a wonderful experience with every visit! And for making us feel so special on our anniversary with glasses of champagne!

Seafood restaurant

Restaurant

The Steam Room is a well-established waterfront eatery in Port Jefferson Village, offering picturesque harbor vistas and a diverse menu of fresh seafood and American favorites. With an array of enticing options at reasonable prices, patrons can indulge in traditional maritime delicacies such as clams, oysters, mussels, shrimp, crab legs, and lobster. Additionally, the restaurant caters to all tastes with dishes like paella and kid-friendly choices like burgers and chicken fingers.

I love this place. My family eats here every time we go to Port Jeff. The fish and chips is amazing. Both the fish and the fries have perfect flavor and texture. Every time I get fish and chips somewhere else I end up comparing it to this, and most other places don't measure up to the Steam Room. It also has cool atmosphere, especially when they have the doors open in the nice weather.

Outdoor seating is dog friendly. Friendly staff. Open seating- order at the kitchen and they bring your food to your table. Beer on tap.Fisherman Platter’s (fried fish, shrimp, scallops, calamari over fries) was yummy. The linguine in white clam sauce was ok - it was more like a buttery/creamy white, missing the clam flavor.

Kona Bean — Google review

This seafood restaurant is located at Port Jefferson, Long Island. The atmosphere is good and I like the green house which is warm, and can enjoy the sea view. The food are delicious yet not too expensive. The seafood pot is tasty and the fish platter is excellent. The lobster roll is ok and the market price today is $26. The salad is good too.

Chun Kit Chan — Google review

The steam room used to be good. I would come here for the seafood Bisque. I went there today, and the place looks run-down, old, and dingy. The seafood bisque was mediocre at best only had pieces of imitation Crab. The muscles were rubbery and not even cooked all the way.. The snow crabs looked and taste old. I paid $17 for the shrimp basket and they gave me 5 pieces of shrimp that was tasteless and greasy. The bathroom was disgusting smelled like urine. Don’t waste you time going to this place it's an overpriced dump!

Elena Verges — Google review

I’m going to be honest, I’ve been coming here since the 90’s as a kid. I always looked forward to the baked clams or the clam strips. You paid per baked clam and you ordered at the window and brought it to your table when it was ready.I moved away from NY in 2006 but have come home so many times during this time. I always tried to make a stop here. It’s been about 4 years since my last time and I have to say…what happened to this place? Now it’s just like any other restaurant with table waitstaff. I’m guessing new ownership? There was one main gentleman policing the entrance and telling people which way to go, he actually shouted at an elderly gentleman a couple times. I would’ve just let him walk in however he wanted instead of making a issue of it, but that’s just me.Our waiter was very nice but that gentleman policing the entrance seemed very anxious. Our lemonade was basically lemon water. No sweetness at all. I didn’t complain. Our appetizer came out at the same time as our lunch. Our lunch wasn’t hot but the appetizer was. The food was fine but I was surprised that now the only way to get baked clams here is to pay $10 for the 3 clam appetizer. That’s a little high, in my opinion. All in all…was saddened to see what’s going on at one of my favorite places to visit when I come home.

Cyndi Riegger-Ludwig — Google review

Keepin it real out here at Port JeffFirst time trying this place. didn't get a chance to as a broke college student. Service is pretty great, very nice staff, food however was very average. For some reason just had higher expectation since I heard it mentioned so many times throughout my 4 years in college. Price is still reasonable for the area. Still open to try it again in a different season of the year.

The food is always delicious, I had the Lobster roll which was very small for $20. I think I'll go with the Fisherman's platter next time. There is a parking lot right in front, which is free parking.Update: I had the Fisherman's platter, which was very good. I would have it again.

A casual dining experience with a mostly seafood menu. Lots of fried dishes but everything was good. You order at a window and they bring the food out. The patio area is nice with a pleasant view of the water.

We had an amazing experience as a family. They were so accommodating to our children. The manager, Faiz, was so kind & lovely. The wait staff was helpful and patient. The food was incredible to top it off! We will absolutely be visiting there more!

Rachel Cunningham — Google review

The Steam Room is situated in beautiful, historic Port Jefferson seaport. I'm revising my original review and I am comfortable with this. While it seems that the manager and workers seem well mannered and the seafood seems fresh, sadly I do have to limit my overall rating based on what it's lacking. So the Steam Room is akin to a fast-food style place. When you walk in they seat you, give you a menu then inform you that to order you go to the counter and wait on line. One line. Only one. It could be empty, it could go down the stairs out of the place. Just one line. So after ordering you get to your table and wait, which isn't too bad. The drinks arrive first and sure enough the server tips their tray and here comes the lemonade all over the place. Side note, the server also spilled a lobster platter on another table as well. The server was polite but apparently they don't know how to hold their tray.So on to the food. The raw clams and oysters are fresh. I've had so much better for the price but at least it's fresh. The other seafood also seemed fresh, except the Calamari which by the way when fried should be crispy. Theirs is not. No breading, not even a dusting. It had to be sent back. While the food in general is not bad, it severely lacks in flavor. It appears they don't season anything. They have sauces and sea salt on the table but nothing is prepared with any seasoning at all. Even the Lemonade has little sweetness or even lemon flavor. So given that you have to pay 3-star prices, wait on line to order, food is flavorless and not prepared so well, I know this place can do better. Also did i mention the really obnoxious fluorescent signs right in your face? Outdoor lighting are these really strong fluorescent signs where the pictures are fading and the glare in unbearable!Again this place can do so much better, but I don't think they're going to anytime soon. I will return in about a year once they bounce back from the pandemic a bit more and I do hope they're doing things a bit better.

Sensei Sama — Google review

I found this place on Google before I left the UK, and I made it one of my must stops. I could have been amazing, but no finger bowls, using your fingers to eat, a must with Crab! They didn't have a clue. The mussels tasted frozen, and the snow crab was overcooked.I'm sure it was very special once, but time & complacency have taken over. With a Ramsey visit, it could be very, very special again.

Jon V — Google review

Used to be great for outdoor dining, especially being dog-friendly. Now that they've changed to a full-serve waitstaff, it's hit or miss whether or not you get good service, or served at all. Waited 15 minutes for a waiter to take our order and that was only after I asked someone for a waiter. They weren't even too busy and the waiter that was finally brought over to the table had previously passed by at least 4 times without acknowledging our existence.Would be much better off if they go back to ordering at the counter, giving you a # for your table and just had the servers bring your tray of food/drinks over.

Andrew V. — Google review

My first impression of this restaurant was, the people who work there is absolutely amazing. The host Joe gave us a warm welcome made us feel comfortable. The resturant manager was great he checked in us and made sure we had everything we needed. The waiters and waitresses were great as well. The food came out in minutes, the food was fresh and delicious. We got Po Boy crawfish and Po Boy shrimp Roll. From the kids money we had order fish and chips.I really liked this restaurant and I’d come back to try the lobster roll and see the great people who work there. 🥰

Seafood restaurant

American restaurant

PJ Lobster House is a restaurant and fish market in Port Jefferson that specializes in serving fresh lobster. It has a spacious interior and offers daily specials to its customers. The restaurant also operates an onsite fish market, where they directly purchase fish from local commercial fishermen of Long Island Sound. This popular seafood establishment has been a beloved part of the neighborhood for over two decades, mainly due to their delectable dishes.

Yummy yummy yummy 😋 best lobster place on Long Island or quite possibly in New York for that matter. Staff is friendly and prompt, and the food is absolutely delicious! This is coming from a long time lobster lover…the bisque is thick and creamy, the shrimp co*cktail is very fresh, and the lobster 🦞 well of course it’s excellent. They also have great desserts so you basically roll out of the place. Price is reasonable considering what you’re getting and they do have a lot of specials as well. Try it you’ll love it.

Visited PJ Lobster House for Friday night dinner. It was a busy night so a bit of a wait was expected. We had a decent wait, even after being seated, but nothing unreasonable. Our appetizer came out about 10 minutes apart but this was not a major issue for us.My girlfriend and I shared a Seafood appetizer sampler as the appetizer. The crab cake and baked clams were good but the calamari was small and cold. The clam strips were overly bready and ended up frying into a couple big clumps. The Cast Iron Combo is listed as a a favorite so I figured I'd give it a try. The Cajun seasoning had a great overall flavor. I would say the shrimp and scallops were smaller than they should be at this price point. The swordfish in both preparation and flavor was the weakest part of the offering. Seasoned vegetable sides were exactly as you'd expect and the pasta with clam sauce was a decent addition with a fair amount of clams added on top.Overall, I'd say the experience was decent but definitely nothing special.

One would hope that going to a restaurant on the shore... In a town with Port in its name... You'd get some quality seafood. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. Starting out with appetizers that somehow took nearly an hour to arrive, we dug in hoping that the wait would've been worth it. The boneless wings were decent, an interesting sauce flavor lost in the overwhelming mouth feel of crunchy fried bread with only the faintest hint of chicken deep within. Snowcrab was next, plenty of butter and lemons to eat it with, too bad that once the shells were pried open (they were much too soft to even crack with the fun little tool) there was barely any crab meat to eat it with. If I hadn't pulled it out of the leg myself I would've assumed I was being fed the fake Krab we all know and love from California rolls. But it was the driest, stringiest, let alone thinnest crab meat we've ever seen. In addition the plates the appetizers came on were burning to the touch, they might have not taken an hour to cook but given the temperature of the plates they were clearly sitting in the window together for a good long while.Still we had high hopes that the entrees would be better and salvage the meal. But as time went on and we watched our waitress bring piping hot food to every table around us, many of which had come in after our meager party of 3, we started to worry.Over 2 hours after sitting down for our reservation, and nearly as long after our waitress took our orders... The entrees finally arrived. A cheeseburger ordered medium but came out charred lumpy dry and over well done. 2 lobster tails with the saddest looking veggies and corn on the cob. And a surf and turf that made astroturf look appetizing in comparison. The pictures really speak for themselves, the dry and stringy lobster, the hockeypuck of a sirloin and sweet potato fries that might as well have been a freshly chopped yam for how cold and undercooked the centers were.In the end the only real positive was what we hope was a fresh bun that was brought with a meager amount of butter at the start of the meal. Too bad the butter was rock hard and the bun was cold. One would hope that a seafood restaurant by the shore would have fresh food... Alas even the audacity to serve dried out and frozen seafood with the ocean within sight doesn't mean that there was the know-how to at least make it palatable...Maybe it was bad luck all around, hopefully this isn't the norm.

Great choice for New Years Day Lunch! I made a reservation on line which was honored. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I had a glass of rose wine which was cold and delicious and also had dessert with coffee. The lobster bisque was excellent and I had the stuffed shrimps with Cole slaw and mashed potatoes and we also ordered breaded flounder.

Amazing experience. My sister and I have been wanting to go here since we moved and we're so happy to finally go. To start with the servers were amazing. They were constantly walking around checking if anybody needed anything. For food, we got the calamari as an appetizer. It was cooked perfectly to the point it just fell apart as soon as you bit down. For our mains, I got the salmon and my sister got the lobster. The salmon like the calamari just fell apart nicely and had a very nice flavor also. The monster was also very good as always. Overall very nice and the new decor looks amazing.

Perfect lunch. Haven’t been feeling well enough to be out, but I had enough energy to pick up food from PJ Lobster today. Ken from Benten Sushi (closed now) is working there now, so if you recognize these rolls, that’s why. I made my own (mediocre) miso to eat with it, and tried to set my table up nice, for a restaurant feeling at home. Ken’s is still the best sushi on the island as far as I know. Add that to the fact that PJ Lobster already serves a vast array of local favorites, with a new interior that looks beautiful and inviting, and you’ve got a winner. The new location down port is easy to find once you realize you can park in the back by Old Field, Ruvo, tennis courts, etc. I may have to scope out some other alternatives for parking before summer hits because I will be back!

Hi me and my 2 sisters went to your PJ Lobster House yesterday, Wednesday. We decided to go out to Port Jefferson to look around. I haven't been out there for about 2 years now. We notice the little indoor mall and the sign outside with your restaurant name on it. We went in and ordered our food, all of our meals were good. I'm sorry I don't have pictures to show of our food. I just ordered a cheese burger with/fries and coleslaw, it was good. One of my sis had the sampler seafood and said it tasted good. My other sis ordered fried Shrimps, mashed potatoes, and salmon cakes and her meal tasted good also. Thank you, for the good meal and sorry I forgot the young lady that served us. We will be back soon 😊💕😋.

I love this place. I have been here twice, and have regretted the fact that it hasn't been more than that. I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and I got the shrimp scampi, and it was AMAZING. I really loved it, and it is a but on the pricier side of restaurants, but it is soooo worth it. I 100000/10 recommend.

Went here recently for a birthday and we had a table of about 12. Service was awesome and always kept up with drinks. Had the fried mozzarella, baked clams and fried calamari for appetizers and they were all delicious. I also liked how they brought the table bread which was really yummy. For my main course I had the shrimp scampi over angle hair and it was easily enough for 2 people. Everyone entree was huge and enough for leftovers. Pleasant surprise considering the prices were very reasonable for a seafood restaurant. For dessert we brought our own cake and they happily served it for us and sang happy birthday. Would come back here in a heart beat. Awesome atmosphere in the center of port Jeff

THE PJ LOBSTER HOUSE, PORT JEFFERSON NY👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍For our 60 Wedding Anniversary, I wanted to take my honey to a good rated seafood restaurant, that we have not been to before. We live in the RVC area, my honey always loved walking around and visiting the shops in Port Jefferson as well as grabbing a bite to eat there too. When looking at different places to eat, This restaurant I found is called, The PJ Lobster House, in Port Jefferson. It had a great menu of dishes we love to eat, their prices looked very fair in this age of high prices, and the restaurant had pretty good Google reviews to boot too! This restaurant has booth and table seating, a bar area, and a fresh fish market all in the same building.Through the years we have been to Port Jefferson many times, but never knew this restaurant existed. It's address is 134 Main Street, but it's NOT on the main road, it in the back behind other buildings, in fact, for the first time ever, my GPS sent me to a wrong place a mile away from where the restaurant really is? I was lucky to run into a postman, who told me exactly where this restaurant was.We got to the restaurant at 1:30pm, there were some people having lunch, and some having drinks at the bar, but not crowded at all, that was fine with us. Our waitress was Sandy, She was great, she didn't rush us, was very friendly and helpful too.We told Sandy that first we were going to order a few appetizers then after that, if we were still hungry we would order something else. Sandy said that's not a problem. So to start off I ordered their New England Clam Chowder. It was fresh tasting, buttery and was loaded with clams, just delicious! Then a dozen large sized Little Neck Clams(top necks) on the half shell. They were very fresh, crispy iced cold, with a snap when bit into them, topped with fresh squeezed lemon juice, a dab of co*cktail sauce, and of course some fresh ground horseradish, they were excellent! Next we had their Coconut Shrimp with mango sauce on the side for dipping. They were cooked perfectly, we've never had better! Next we had their whole baked clams oreganta, they too were on the money, simply delicious! Now here comes a bucket of fresh mussels cooked in white wine and garlic, yum, yum, yum, is all I can say. We ended our appetizers with a cold octopus salad, which consisted of fresh greens, sliced cooked octopus, olives, cherry tomatoes sprinkled in a light oil. Also just delicious too!Sandy asked will there be anything else or are you full? I ordered their Crab cake sandwich that comes with french fries, cold slaw, tomato and lettuce and a topping sauce. My honey ordered their hot Lobster roll with butter and sweet potato fries and cold slaw. Both were excellent choices all freshly made for us.We were both about to bust from eating so much delicious food, but I asked to see their dessert menu. I ordered their raspberry sorbet with chocolate syrup and whipped cream, Wow! My wife ordered their creme brulee, another Wow! Delicious!I can imagine this restaurant must be very busy on the weekends, we will come back for sure, but we again will go during the week for an early lunch as we did today. We enjoyed all the food ordered and Sandy our waitress was perfect at her job, she made us feel very welcome and at home even for first timers at this restaurant. This restaurant is really a hidden gem, in Port Jefferson! A very nice place to go and have a wonderful meal with friends and family!

Visited Pj's Lobster House in the heart of downtown Port Jefferson and was completely captivated! The atmosphere is adorably charming, capturing the essence of the town perfectly. The service was impeccable — genuine, friendly, and attentive. Now, let's talk about the food: the Alaskan King crab legs were a mouthwatering delight, and the lobster was cooked to sheer perfection. A five-star dining experience that shouldn't be missed!

We were waited on by Sandy who was hospitable and welcoming. We ordered the firecracker calamari, lobster roll with a side of fries and cole slaw and the Surf & Turf special. Absolutely delicious!! I would return again if ever I was in the area. *sidenote: daily metered parking is available in the back lot of the restaurant at $1/hour or you can elect to park elsewhere for free.

We ate at the PJ Lobster House last night with a guest from out of town. It was our first time eating inside....we ate outside a few times last summer. Everything was delicious! My salad was crisp and cold...I'm not sure why it tasted so good, but it did! My husband loved the NE Clam Chowder. I had the twin lobster tails with fries and cole slaw. Husband had the Alaskan King Crab Legs appetizer....a huge amount of crab for an appetizer! Maybe it's meant to be shared with a large crowd? I brought one lobster tail home and just diced it and sauteed it in butter and it was delicious again! But the surprise star of the night was the bread! A warm, round loaf that we sliced at the table. I don't know if they make it on site or buy it at a bakery....but it's amazing and we will go back just for the bread!

Kind of a mixed back. We had 4 people, One ordered the Penne Alla Vodka and thought it was great. One ordered the Fried Fisherman's Platter, got a huge portion and loved it. My Mom ordered a Cold Lobster Salad Sandwich and was disappointed because the lobster was shredded into small pieces, I had the Cast Iron Combo and felt the portion size was small for the price. I asked for it spicy but it was honestly bland. The service was great and the atmosphere nice.

Sal Bocchieri — Google review

A bit pricey for what it was. No flavor in the hot lobster roll which I was soo excited for. Coconut shrimp was also not amazing.I understand it was busy but the service was not the best. We had only 2 small plates for 4 people for bread and apps, then no one came and took glasses or the app plates away on the tiny table so it was full and messy. Plus the food being sub par, was not the best experience. Was really looking forward to enjoying some good lobster rolls. Looks delicious. For $32+ for a lobster rolls at least could have good cole slaw. Only thing I enjoyed was the fresh bread and fries

Great place for fresh seafood, the restaurant has nice decor and the staff are friendly. The portions are good . My favorite was the lobster rolls the lobster meat was fresh and the bun was soft, comes with butter as a dip. We also ordered the calamari which was fresh and tasted good. Overall great experience.

Mediterranean restaurant

Brunch restaurant

Fondue restaurant

Joey Z's restaurant is a Mediterranean establishment offering a wide selection of gyros, panini, and dishes from Greek, Italian, and American cuisines. A recent visit with family included linguine in pesto sauce with chicken, a delightful margarita pizza, and crispy calamari mozzarella sticks. The food was outstanding; each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving us wanting more. Moreover, the service was exceptional; the staff demonstrated great attention to detail and provided top-notch assistance.

Awesome decor and food! The portion sizes are also huge, and the staff are extensive cordial and friendly! We tried both the Mediterranean (Saganaki Special) and Italian (Chicken Sorrentino), and they were equally excellent!

I recently dined at Joey Z's restaurant with my family, including three adults and my 12-year-old son. Our meal consisted of linguine with pesto and chicken, a mouthwatering margarita pizza, and delectable fried calamari mozzarella sticks. I must say, the food was beyond superb—every bite was bursting with flavor and left us wanting more. Additionally, the service was top-notch, showcasing a high level of quality and attentiveness. I can't recommend Joey Z's enough for its delicious cuisine and exceptional service. It was truly a memorable dining experience for us all.

The service in Joey Z’s was spectacular, answering any questions and providing recommendations. The food itself was served in adequate portions, and was very filling. My only complaint is the poor menu quality since they ripped real easy, but they’re getting new menus, so it’s whatever. Overall, very good restaurant.

Fantastic meal tonight. We had several food allergies including gluten and dairy. They were amazing at making sure that we had several options to meet all of our dietary needs. In my opinion the food is incredible.-You won’t find a better breakfast menu. So many options each more delicious than the last. I recommend everything, yet I gravitate towards“the long islander”.In the evening the Pizza is my go to, but anything pasta or Mediterranean is enjoyable.Portions are generous, you pay for what you get, and then some.Owner & staff are always respectful, friendly & attentive. They make everyone feel welcome, and it shows. All walks of life dine there. The place is always CLEAN. Decor updated regularly.Whether it’s a Sunday morning Motorcycle ride for breakfast, brunch outside with my lady & the dog. Or a mother Day celebration, JoeyZ’s is a lovely place to dine & worth the hour plus drive, every time.

The waitress told us the appetizers and the entrees were made at the same time and rushed to make room for the entrees. The Philly Cheese Steak wasn’t the best. The Thousand Island needed bit more seasoning. The filet mignon kebab was delicious. The staff was nice.

Tiger Lily Cafe is a unique eatery that has been serving a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian dishes along with fresh-squeezed juices since 1998. The menu features a mix of classic and contemporary options, including lentil-brown rice salad, kale salad with butternut squash, and veggie-quinoa salad. In addition to catering to vegetarians and vegans, the cafe also offers sandwiches, salads, and wraps with meat and cheese.

Love this place! My daughter's favorite!Wraps and vegetarian choices are amazing. Consistently good food. Easy to call in order and pick up. Great outdoor porch dining in warmer weather. Tahitian Vanilla hot beverage or hot cocoa with sesame tofu wrap or balsamic veggie wrap are our favorites. Highly recommended.

An artistic cafe near the Port Jefferson main street serving vegetarian food.Must-try: sesame tofu cutlet wrap.Highlights: Works from local artists showcased in Medusa's lounge. Stay and enjoy the funky atmosphere here!Food: This cafe provides delicious vegetarian menu (probably the best I have ever tried in local area). As a non-vegetarian, I was hesitate, but the sesame tofu cutlet wrap is amazing. They also have a juice bar with rich options.Parking: Free street parking / paid parking in parking lots.

I've been a patron of the Tiger Lily Cafe for at least 10 years. I am happy to say that their menu has consistently stayed the same and everything on their menu that I've tried has been satisfactory. My two go to items on the Earth shake and the sesame tofu wrap. However I'm also a fan of their veggie burger and I frequently try there's soups and delicounter items that change on a weekly basis.

New American restaurant

Old Fields Restaurant is a rustic tavern in the heart of Greenlawn that has been open since 1956. With an intimate space and patio, it is the perfect place to enjoy American cuisine and craft beer in an informal setting.

What a fantastic meal! Started with the pumpkin martini which was amazing. Then I had the beets salad which was extremely delicious, and then had the salmon which was cooked to perfection! Our waitress was extremely friendly and efficient. We walked in without a reservation and got seated right away on a Friday night! Looking forward to going back soon!

Okay...wow! I have a friend in Port Jeff that I was visiting and we decided to go out for dinner this weekend. Although I'm vegetarian, I'm not picky with places and can always find something on the menu to eat! She recommended Old Fields and told me it's their favorite local Steakhouse. I was sure I'd probably only find a side or so to eat and was okay just eating later on. It was raining out but it was so warm and cozy inside! I immediately realized how packed the place was and the dim lighting inside made for the best dinner vibes!! As I got there and looked at the menu, I realized how many vegetarian options they had available. There was also a fireplace close to our table that made us feel extra cozy and our table had cute table lights that went perfect w/ the fall co*cktails & restaurant aesthetic. I loved that they had so many specials and features. They had a specials menu for food that night as well as three seasonal fall co*cktail options. To start, I had the pumpkin martini which was very sweet but definitely "fall-y" and yum! Maybe get it as a dessert co*cktail. For apps to share, we got the night special stracciatella & fig flatbread as well as the zucchini chips. We loved both! The flatbread with the figs & balsamic was perfect and the zucchini chips breading was sooo flavorful and delicious with the dipping sauce they give you. For my entree, they had a "Mezzi Orecchiette" which was Orecchiette pasta with a summer vegetable medley in a lemon cream sauce. This was the best thing I had! The lemon cream sauce was so creamy and rich and paired perfect with the fresh vegetables and pasta. I would definitely go back just to have this again. For dessert, we were already so full but decided to get a creme brulee. Of course this was delicious and had maraschino cherries on top - my fav! We ended the night drinking co*cktails by the fire. The other thing I noticed was how good the service was. I can't remember her name but our server was so upbeat and fun and had so many recommendations for us. Everything came out fast and all of the wait staff & bussers were efficient. This place surprised me and ended up being a fantastic surprise that I needed to review, thank you!

I just moved to port Jeff about 4 months ago and I order from OF about 4 times a week and it’s not because I’m trying to put the owners family through college. THE FOOD IS JUST THAT AMAZING! EVERY TIME. You cannot beat that but the icing on the steak, I mean cake was their bend over backwards customer service. The attention to detail from the hostess to the chef is something I will not soon forget. I have only ordered delivery so far and the fact that they recognized just a name coming across a computer made me feel special. This isn’t a slow or unpopular place so for them to take appreciation in my support guaranteed them a life long customer :) I cannot wait to go in person bc the property looks beautiful too

We came here for Mothers Day this year. I could say that the food was okay, the service on the other hand was EXCEPTIONAL! We found something in my daughter's pasta that was not supposed be there, the management took it upon themselves to serve our party of 6 ANY desert drink we wanted .. including alcoholic and they also bought out one of each and every desert on the menu! It was great, More of a steak house tho.

I went to Old Fields this week for a friend's birthday dinner. After hearing such great things I was really excited to try this place and it did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is tucked away in a cute corner and inside the warm furniture and soft lighting make for a really cozy ambiance. Our server, Kathy, was absolutelyfantastic. Not only was she so warm and friendly, she took the time to understand our tastes and recommendmenu items that would make our taste budssing. There are so many ways to customize and combine menu items - who knew! We got a few apps but my favorite one was the zucchini chips, which came with the most amazing pesto dip. I was nearly full by the time dinner came around, but my short rib was perfectly tender and very flavorful. Combined with the polenta, it made for the best comfort food on a rainy night. Kathy helped us choose a dessert board for the table and the crowd favorite was the s'mores sundae, hands down! I had cabernet to drink but I can't wait to go back and try some of the fun co*cktails that were on the menu. And I certainly hope we get Kathy - she is an absolutegem and made our evening such a pleasure!

This place is excellent! I’m writing this review after my fourth dinner in three years, and I can say that the quality of the place and the food is excellent. I drove almost two hours from Brooklyn to have dinner here. Staff is friendly and professional. Food is really good: last time we had French onion soup that was superlative, then a burger and fish and chips, everything good, but in the past I tried the chicken, salmon and steak: good! Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Started by ordering drinks, Bourb-Berry and their cider cinnamon drink. Both were extremely enjoyable and tasty, a good size drink without been overpriced. For starters we shared the buttermilk fried chicken which was very satisfying and a good portion to share between 2 people. Our main meals were their old fields burger and squid ink linguine. Both meals were great and very tasteful. Service was very good, our waiter was very friendly and visited our table often to ensure everything was up to our liking. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are in the area.

My go to meal is the Organic Wild King Salmon with Brussel Sprouts it’s perfection!! It has this sweet sauce that takes the salmon to another level. I usually do the Zucchini Chips for an app and they are always crispy and delicious. I’m not much of a dessert person but we ordered the s’mores brownie sundae and it was beyond delicious. This is definitely my go to Saturday Night spot and I just found out the extended their hours at the bar and serve a special menu too so this may be my go to friday night spot too lol. Seriously try it for yourself and you will thank me!

Beautiful atmosphere no wait at all and was seated right by the fire place. And of course the food was great that’s what’s making me leave this review 9.7 (nobody gets a 10 I’m tougher than the crowd at the Apollo ). Will 100% go back ( actually I’m going on Saturday 😂)

This Establishment is extremely well run. They went out of their way to make my wife and I have an extremely pleasant time on our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing, the wait staff even better… And the manager often came over to check in on us. I highly recommend this restaurant… Truly the best of the best

Gourmet Burger Bistro is a relaxed eatery that offers a wide range of gourmet burgers with creative toppings, accompanied by an assortment of wine and beer. While some aspects of the place received mixed reviews, such as uncomfortable chairs and noise levels, others were positively highlighted. The wings were decent but not outstanding, while the Tuscan burger was particularly delicious. However, there were instances where custom-made burgers arrived cold along with onion straws.

A GOOD JUICY BURGER AND ALOT OF ONIONS ! Okay so I go out with the Boys and thought we go to a restaurant in this part of town but not sure where. So we saw this place and decided this place looks good and worth the waitlist for like 35 minutes. First BITE and juices came out of the burger. Also I noticed that this place uses a lot of onions for their flavor. Their cut potatoes had onions in the basket. The standard side for a burger is onion strings!!

Visiting port Jefferson and had lunch at this restaurant. The location is near the ferry so easy to walk to. Bar service very good. Friendly staff. Food was fresh and delicious. Got a few appetizers with the dipping sauce. Definitely a place to visit while touring in NY.

Burger tasted great and Service was good. But the wings were a little hard I wish I could be a little bit more tender and juicy.

Food was good. Food could be great if service was a little faster. The Brie cheese and bacon were cold on the burger. Overall, would go back. Lots of burgers to try.

Fantastic burger joint with great views. We sat outside and ordered a few appetizers, burgers, and drinks. The service was great and I enjoyed the flavor of the food. I do recommend them and I'll be back for sure! The appetizers were probably the best part.

Adrienne Miller — Google review

Overall the place was okay. The chairs are uncomfortable and it's kind of loud inside. The wings were pretty good, but definitely not the best. The Tuscan burger was really good. My wife built her own and it came out cold along with both our onion straws. The garlic fries were also pretty disappointing since there was barely any garlicky taste to them and they were just covered in parmasean. I would come back to try a different burger, just wouldn't order any special fries this time.

Ok,, so the wait to get 3 delicious blue cheese burgers 🍔, was 30 min,,,we weren't happy,, but it's worth the wait. ,plus the sweet potato fries were really good and great house beers a large selection

Was looking forward to this place, I have heard good things about it. I got the Jalapeno burger, it had no heat, and really no flavor. My son built his own burger, same issue, no flavor, and his onion stings were cold. My wife and other kid enjoyed there burger, maybe the cook was off that night. We also got the beer cheese pretzels and mozzarella sticks as an appitizer, those were very good. I'm thinking one and done for me for this place, who knows maybe ill try it again. The service was pretty good, and the atmosphere was also nice.

Mike Worhle — Google review

giving three stars because of the customer service, but the food is downright awful. i came here one time before this and ordered the peter luger and blue cheese burger, and the blue cheese tasted like straight up vodka, i guess they cooked it with vodka to melt the cheese more.... idk. i figured id give it another chance and order something else... i ordered the lobster mac, it had no taste at all. i couldn't even tell what i was eating because there was no taste. after pouring lots of salt and pepper, it just tasted like salt and pepper. very disappointing. to make it worse, my sister received her burger raw. immediately they jumped into action and fixed the problem i commend the staff greatly for that, personally still wouldn't go back due to the food just not being up to my standards.... hoping they'll do a menu revamp, drinks and atmosphere are great here... would be better with better food.

The food was a 5/5. The service was a 1/5. The comfort of the stools we sat on was a 0/5. The waitress demonstrated very little training. The young lady was unable to answer any question we asked. Rather than say, "Let me find out for you", she would shrug her shoulders and reply, "I don't know". There were several people complaining how cold it was in the room (it was truly uncomfortably cold) and instead of offering to turn the heat up, she pointed to the door that was within 10' of the tables and replied, "Yeah. That's because the door is right there." The man at the table next to us ordered the same thing that his son ordered and his son's burger was twice the size of his. The man kindly told the waitress and she replied in a sweet voice, "I don't know what to tell you. They're made in the back" and she walked away. We all looked at each other in amazement because the customer's burger was very small. A person at our table requested specific items to be ON the burger, not on the side and the items were NOT on the burger. Another person at our table asked for coffee and the small cup was delivered to the table ¾ empty but we were charged for a full cup of coffee. It was a bizarre dining experience. It gave us a few laughs with the other customers. We'll be ordering take-out from now on. Again, the food was good for a burger place.

Located in the heart of Port Jeff, there's a delightful and adorable restaurant with a charming nautical ambiance, strategically positioned by the harbor. The venue features a delightful patio and large bay windows in one dining area, complemented by a separate bar area that adds to its allure. I decided to celebrate my birthday dinner at this wonderful spot for the very first time. While the service might be leisurely, it seems to reflect their desire for guests to embrace life's moments and savor the experience. As for the cuisine, it was beyond satisfying, impressing with its excellent presentation and high-quality ingredients. And not to forget, the drinks were simply delectable, adding an extra touch of delight to the overall experience. It’s dog friendly!!

Went New Year’s Eve had an awesome meal off their special menu. Started off with a nice glass of German resiling wine, Shades of Blue, excellent! Then for appetizer had the crab cakes, loaded with crab topped with Aioli sauce, best I’ve ever had. Then had the fillet mignon with lobster tail, fillet had a good amount of gristle in the middle that I had to work around, other than that it was very good. Lobster tail was presented and seasoned very well in some sort of marinated butter, wine and garlic which I thought was top notch of flavor and tenderness. Came with the mash potatoes another good choice some of the best made. I can’t forget their delicious homemade multi grain bread which was very good. For last desert opted for the Crème Brûlée topped off with fresh made whipped cream, awesome. Let me also mention about our waitress very friendly and accommodating, great customer service.Overall had a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience at Nantucket's other than the fillet not being completely satisfied I give it the Cardillo Scale Rating Review of 4.8 out of 5. Will definitely be back again. Happy New Year 🎉🥳😋 👍

Super adorable little spot in Port Jeff. The food is great, pricing isn't bad and you get plenty of food. The service is slow but I think they want you to slow down and enjoy life. The drinks are also very yummy. We tried the French toast bites which I highly recommend and the eggs any style plate with parm truffle fries instead of home fries. I will say they do not skimp on the ingredients the parm truffle fries were delicious even for brunch. For drinks we tried bellini's, espresso martini and mango jalapeño margaritas all were made amazingly. Would definitely go here and again and we did recommend it to anyone we knew. We even ran into a friend dining here with family. We were all from out of town visiting for a wedding.

Charming restaurant with naval decor right by the Port Jeff harbor. Has a patio and big bay windows in one dining area, bar in another. We went on a rainy Saturday with modest traffic.Floor was a little slippery coming in. Clean butcher paper on tablecloths. Attentive service.Started with lobster bisque, grilled oysters, and french onion soup. Oysters and the french onion were a bit salty - too much Worcestershire on that soup. Lobster bisque tasted better with a healthy hand of pepper, had one big chunk of claw meat and little other lobster. Oysters came with a fun grilled lemon as well, were ok.Our party had a hot lobster roll, mahi mahi tacos, and duck for mains. The hot lobster roll had excellent fries - easily the best piece of any dish. Roll itself was a tad salty, just OK.The poor duck was tremendously overcooked but came on good mashed potatoes; cranberry tasted excessive; carrots were very tender but also too salty. Beans were ok.Bathrooms were interesting - 1 person but they have a door between the toilet/sink and a mirror with very bright unflattering lights.

Olivia — Google review

The food is ok but pricy. We ordered salmon, duck, mussel and salad. In general good quality is good and better than regular restaurants. However when we come it is a bit busy and service is a bit chaotic. Our orders are mistaken but clarified afterwards. The price is on the high end though. They have a deck so may be a good choice for summer happy hours.

We went for Sunday brunch, and I have to say the food was pretty good. We got the steak and eggs, and the shrimp and lobster hash and eggs. They also have a lot of options for co*cktails and wine. Overall everything didn’t look terrible and it was up-to-date. The reason I gave this place a three star rating is because the room was so loud we could not even have a conversation with each other.

James Wood — Google review

First time at this establishment. Food was very good; nice presentation and good quality. However, service was wanting. Polite, but inattentive waiter. Had to wait too long for his very occasional check-ins. Had to go find someone myself to ask for sweetener. Never offered to refresh drinks. No bread served to fill the wait time. Took almost 30 minutes for the appetizer to be served and it was almost immediately followed by the main dish. Considering the time of day we were there (3pm-ish) and the fact that there were only three more tables active at the time, we didn't feel we were attended to as good as we should have been for the "upscale" restaurant it was aiming to be.

George — Google review

We ordered the calamari which was over cooked and extremely chewy. The duck wings were extremely good! The paella was very dry and the shrimp were tough and over cooked. The sausage overpowered the other flavors. The tiny piece of lobster wouldn't release from the shell. I had to scrape it out with my fork. Not a great experience but I would go back once more to see if that first meal was a fluke. ( no pun intended). Very pricey for the quality.

Cafe

Sweet 'n' Savory is a charming local eatery that offers a variety of crêpes with innovative fillings in a lively and quirky atmosphere. It is particularly popular among those with a sweet tooth, making it an ideal place to satisfy dessert cravings. Located in Port Jefferson Village, the café boasts prompt and friendly service, with staff readily assisting customers in their selection process. The interior design is captivating, featuring amusing expressions on the walls that are sure to bring smiles to patrons' faces.

Why is this place so good?1. Kids to adults will find something they will enjoy2. You got savory crepes with meat n cheese, sweet dishes with berries n Nutella, and vegetarian dishes!2.5 you can ask them to craft a special crepe for you!3. The prices trend towards >$15, but if you just want a simple sweet crepe they have a new $10 special!4. Before you leave I'd recommend grabbing some rice pudding to go: they have a bunch of flavors that you wouldn't find elsewhere. My new goal is to try a new flavor each time I visit.5. After you are done with your meal, you can walk off the calories in the local dog park, rocket ship park, or take a seat by the boats. It is just a wonderful place overall, in such a wonderful area.

Good place for the crepes and maybe even the rice pudding. We had an Almond Joy crepe and it was very well made. The coffee is really bad though. Even the plain black coffee is weird. Forget cappuccinos etc. So definitely go for the large variety of both sweet and savory and meat and meatless crepes but get the coffee from somewhere else.

Kushal Dasgupta — Google review

I ordered on uber eats, got the strawberries and blueberries with cream cheese. I wouldn't say it's the best crepe, I was disappointed that the cream cheese wasn't sweet. Should've definitely added vanilla and sugar to that cream cheese. The rice pudding was gross in my opinion (I got the original) I'll give it 3 stars but overall didn't enjoy spending 38 dollars on a eh crepe and nasty rice pudding.

The most horrible crepe experience, the crêpe was overcooked. It was crispy, not soft. The strawberries and banana was cut so huge that you couldn't eat it, and the utensils are so low quality. Over all service was good but the food was HORRIBLE

Rice Pudding is amazing, lots of choices and was very fresh. Crepe was perfectly made and delicious. The service was not great, the young lady at the counter was not friendly and was like a robot. The shop was clean and cute decorations. The bathroom was clean. Would recommend the French Toast rice pudding.

Portions are big - go hungry! The crepes are decent for the US, and there are tons of sweet and savory options. Love that they have a GF crepe but remind them not to overcook it- the batter can get too crispy. Ingredients seem fresh overall. Relaxed service - not for a quick order. There are a few quiet tables inside - best to order ahead, eat outside on a nice day or pick up/to-go.

As an individual who used to work in this store, I must say that working here was one of the worst experiences in my life. My boss was extremely generous and kind however when I told her the situation that was occurring with an employee named Rudy she did not even do anything to fix the situation. Rudy is an individual who body shamed me called me fat and asked me constantly about my weight. As well as he stated that he did not like to work with African American individuals. He also made hom*ophobic comments about my other coworker. I explained all of this to the owner and all she said was that I would not be working with him. I think it is very unprofessional for a young college student to be treated like this by an adult who has already been working at this store for a long period. It is very disappointing that this experience happened and I hope whoever works with Rudy does not experience this. Very unprofessional and disrespectful is what I would call this store

Angel Martel — Google review

If I may suggest change the price range you have listed as it is misleading and downright infuriating which can really ruin the experience when you discover the price range of $10 - $20 it seems as it is a ploy to get customers through the door only to find out that you're dropping $50 - $70 easily for 2 ppl and over $100 easily for a small family. It may be just that management has not updated since 2021 and isn't accounting the 17%+ inflation of the current economy, but even so, for the cost for some crepes you'd expect exquisite food and service. The items for $15 it seems you're at the mercy of the mood of whoever is making it and the $24+ crepes I've experienced both times disappointment on opposite spectrums. Had my crepe being made amateurish and disappointing for the price, and the other felt unless you get the higher priced items it isn't made well and the lower priced crepes made poorly so 1 of the 2 ppl leave annoyed. If you're price range can give customers a more accurate accounting pp won't have the expectations that I did. It's a $10-$20 per person experience for a $50-$70 cost.

Used to be a favorite place until my experience tonight . Went on their website and placed an order for 4 crepes for pickup. Completely overpriced but that was my choice. When you place the order it is straight on their website and shows zero connection to Grubhub , door dash etc . I picked it up and noticed that I was charged an extra $5 a crepe to pre order it and pick it up then if i ordered it in the store . $20 extra dollars ! Excepted that I would never do that again, to then find out that I am missing 2 crepes when I get home . I call the store in which I am told first that I have to contact grub hub . I explain I would however , I placed it on your website . Nothing states grubhub including my receipt or charge . Then I get told to please hold on , someone comes back on the line and starts dialing a number in which it connects to another customer as I’m on the line . I proceed to get hung up on . I call back and is told I must go back onto the website and submit a refund request . There is no way to do that on their website and ask to speak to the manager . Manager I’m told is not there and will call me . I get a call from someone that doesn’t even tell me she’s the manager or provides her name and states there is no way they will refund me . I can either go to the store at anytime and pick up two crepes or they can try to see if they can deliver it to me now at 9:00pm - which I am 15 mins from the store . I told her know. I want a refund . She said that will never happen . I let her know that is unacceptable and will be disputing the charge . I’ve been taking my family and friends to this restaurant for years and unfortunately just lost several customers due to an issue that could have been resolved amicably.

Lauren Esposito — Google review

This is not great quality Crepe but the price is way too high. Charging $25 just for 1 crepe and coffee when in contrary the cost of making premium quality Crepe from scratch is about 3-4 dollar with consideration of today’s high inflation prices. Still they are using inflation as excuse and charging 5-6X. This is ridiculous, I call this rip off. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, paying this amount of money for a very plain and simple crêpe means you’ve been ripped off.

Grumpy Jack's is a comfortable hangout with a patio, offering happy hours and televised sports. Their pub menu includes delectable options like wings and burgers. The food is delicious, making it a great place to eat. With generous portions for the price, it provides excellent value for money. The atmosphere has a hospitable feel, resembling that of a local pub. The service is exceptional, ensuring prompt delivery of both drinks and food.

Delicious!! Great place to eat! We had a party of 6 and mostly everyone loved their food. Po Boys, Shrimp Risotto, and a Reuben with Sweet Potato Fries. The Philly Omelette was not the best - wouldn’t recommend. The Fig Mule was so refreshing. Great service and great portions for the price. The atmosphere felt good. A local pub with a hospitable feel. We got our drinks and food pretty fast. Definitely recommend! 😎

Busy Friday night; difficult to find parking. Walked into a loud bar area & restaurant. We were seated with our menus, server came over for our drink order, and we also ordered the sampler appetizer, which came fairly quick. The baked clams were decent, nice chunks of clams in the mixture. Popcorn shrimp had a nice crunch. Mini tacos were average bar food tacos. Mozzarella sticks were nicely fried with a great cheese pull. Our dinner was served just as we finished the Appetizer - again, very quick, considering how busy it was. I ordered the crabmeat stuffed flounder with a sweet potato and Broccoli. The flounder was very good, decently stuffed. My husband ordered a burger with Swiss cheese and pastrami. He loved it. Perfectly cooked. Service was great, a rotation of servers and bussers, so the table was always tended to.

Ive been here twice, had the same server both times who was great. Very attentive and polite. It was really busy this last time, and we had to stand and wait a bit. Not a big deal. We were seated at a quiet table upstairs after about 10 or 15 minutes. Food is pretty good, and I was very happy to see they cater to vegetarians with their menu. Prices are very reasonable. I would certainly recommend.

My husband's burger was good and so was my chicken wings but the pirogies was very strange. I never had hard rubbery pirogies before. The onions weren't caramelized enough and there was some strange wilted green things on the plate. I would not recommend them. Waitress was great but the only one for the entire dinning room so there was a wait on service.

Awful experience. Just got back from first time going. And I thought I would be ok with ordering Chicken parm with spaghetti - not edible - previously frozen chicken tough as leather - probably in the freezer for over a month. Disappointed - just awful. Never going back - one and done - just sad . Didn't complain - just paid and got outta there. Took two bites. That's that.

Diner BEWARE: at the very bottom of the menu in small print you will find: "Prices listed are based on a cash discount.....3.5 percent service fee is added to credit card..."Now on to the food: Notice in the picture the item in the upper left corner? No it's not a paperweight. That compressed lump is the stuffing from my crab stuffed flounder. See the potato? It appears to be a regular white potato, but I ordered a sweet potato. Oh well, my mother taught me you don't always get what you want............On the other hand, the flounder was tasty and the green beans were outstanding. And the staff were all super pleasant. To sum it up: It is nice local hangout for a drink or appetizer, but I would take my dinner dining somewhere else. Also I don't patronize establishments that have "hidden fees"

American restaurant

Prohibition Port Jefferson is a lively and inviting gastropub located in the quaint village of Port Jefferson. The establishment's menu offers a delightful array of dishes that seamlessly blend Latin, soul food, and vegan cuisines. The restaurant's delectable creations are not only delicious but also visually appealing, making them perfect for social media snapshots.

I’ve had my eye on this place for a long time. I’m soooo glad I finally ate here . I went forThe gusto and got a chicken sandwich on a donut with sausage gravy .. I’m in love .. I have not felt this happy eating something so unhealthy in a long time . The place is small and quint . Cool vibes . Im walking out smiles ear to ear .

Atmosphere was great (small place, good music ), as was the service. Enjoy our food (falafel bowl was yummy) and drinks too! Definitely would go back.

I came here with friends that live in the area with high expectations, but was disappointed in the end. I did like the eccentric vibe of the establishment itself. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She had rearranged seating especially for us which had a party of 8.The restaurant is tiny with not much seating. The menu looked promising, but I was disappointed with my order.I had ordered the Chicken and Waffles, which ended up being the blandest version of that dish I've ever had. I literally was just a chicken cutlet on top of a waffle, with a tiny bit of powdered sugar. Not worth anywhere near what I had even paid for it.The other dish I am able to review from our order was the nachos. these were not that up to par either. The cheese on the nachos was more of a cheese sauce which didn't allow for any toppings to stick and by the end the chips were so soggy, you had to finish them with a fork. One person in my party had the build your own quesadilla which actually was pretty decent. In conclusion, I probably will not eat here again, if I do I will spend more time to study the menu and ask how certain dishes are prepared.I hope this was helpful, please be sure to like and follow, It will be appreciated!

It is more bar than restaurant, which is not a bad thing, but just know what you are walking into. The drink was great - I would go back for more of their specialty co*cktails.I would not go back specifically for the food. The well-done burger I ordered was not well-done (photo) and the Ketchup bottle came from the back looking like the attached (photo). The staff was friendly and great when it came to the burger issue. They offered a solution without prompting so I didn't leave upset about that.A note about the bathroom - it is beautiful, but it is only 1 person at a time.

First time coming and we cannot WAIT to come back. We put our name down after the hostess told us the wait would be about 30-40 minutes, we got called to sit down 30 minutes later and our waitress was super sweet! We ordered the Lets Dip appetizer with Buffalo Chicken Dip, Spin Dip and Queso - all 3 were VERY good. I got the steak sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the Fat Boy Burger. We couldn’t even finish everything. We took home the spin dip and our entrees. Our waitress even ran out to our car after with extra chips! The staff and food both deserve more than 5 stars.

Christina LaFroscia — Google review

This is a super nice spot. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars all over the board, is because I'm a condescending dude from Manhattan...The food is super fresh and good for food outside of the city. The salad had a bit too much dressing, and the dressing is not 100% accurate. But again for a spot outside of the city it's really nice.Same with the service, the bartender, is really sweet and does her best.I will definitely come back

Easy to see right off of East Main Street servicing Port Jefferson and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. A nice looking interior with retro speakeasy feel. Clean facilities. Public Restroom. Staff is nice. Went here for brunch on a Sunday. My Eggs Benedict (poached) were a little over cooked. Shoe string fries were good. Nice bar with weekly food and drink specials. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff.

Eric San José — Google review

Very cool little spot in the heart of the village. Creative craft co*cktails and a solid, varied beer list. Was really impressed by the half off happy hour menu on some drinks and small plates. Wouldn't expect that with the items on the small plates menu, ended up making a meal out of those. Will be visiting again for some large plates!

Charming place in the village of Port Jefferson. We each had burgers, and it was full of flavor. Nice atmosphere. Great staff and nice menu. Check it out.

Excellent food, head chef is great conversation and a real talent. Brunch on Christmas Eve was wonderful, and the co*cktails were tasty too. 5/5, highly recommended

My girlfriend and I decided to go to Prohibition Kitchen for our 1 year anniversary, and we were absolutely blown away in every aspect. The servers were all incredibly nice, especially our waitress Jules. She was quick with refills and stayed on top of us the entire night without hovering. She was super friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The food. Oh let me tell you about the food. We ordered the lobster quesadilla and the baked lobster mac n' cheese. They were both just delicious, and at a very reasonable price as well. The food was also cooked and prepared for us incredibly fast, I feel like we waited no longer than just a few minutes really. For dessert we ordered the apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and unsurprisingly, it was simple and delicious!Overall we had a fantastic time here, and we will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Prohibition Port Jeff’s instagram has been making my mouth water for years on instagram and it’s taken me way too long to finally get there and after making it there yesterday for the first time, it was more than worth the wait! Everything was perfect in my experience. Our hostess was both informative extremely inviting, and attentive as she took the best care of me and my wife as we waited for a table to open up on a busy and beautiful day in Port Jeff. We ended up ordering the special monthly co*cktail on her recommendation as we hung out by the bar, where all of the patrons were welcoming, and we relished in how good the recommended Bloody Mary was! The atmosphere was so chill, warm, and cozy. After being seated our waitress was as diligent as they come. Taking our order promptly and making sure our water was always filled. The food was out of this world delicious! I partook in a boozy brunch with my wife where I had the Belgian waffle and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had on Long Island. My partner got a Benny bowl that she couldn’t help but share just to have me join in on tasting how exquisite the roasted veggies and potatoes were. The whole experience was memorable and I honestly cannot wait to come back here throughout the summer!

Bar & grill

Restaurant

Billie's 1890 Saloon is a rustic American restaurant and bar that exudes a vintage charm. Established in 1981, its timeless interior features pressed-tin ceilings, dark wood accents, and hex-tiled floors reminiscent of the late 19th century. Guests can enjoy watching sports at the inviting bar or opt for sidewalk-facing stools to observe Port Jefferson's lively atmosphere.

Had an impromptu dinner at Billie's after a day at the LIM. We ordered a few appetizers to share as our meal: the big pretzel, honey sriracha brussel sprouts, and chicken wings. Pretzel was indeed BIG, and was soft and chewy. The wings were good, but could have been a little crisper (but that may be a personal preference). Brussel sprouts were actually the stand-out dish. So crispy, sweet, spicy, and a little smoky thanks to the chunks of bacon. We could have eaten three orders of just the sprouts, honestly. Service was great, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy.

Ashley Aranda — Google review

I walked in and was immediately greeted by all the bar staff. High five 1890. Mike was the bartender.I didn’t stay for food but I will be back.

Mike G and Emma are great bartenders. The perfect neighborhood bar where everyone makes you feel like an old friend. Great apps and sandwiches. The bar is kept very clean and the bartenders are very attentive even when there's a crowd. Plenty of seating. This is the place we end up at every week for so many reasons!

Had the burger and am very impressed. Worth the stop if in Port Jefferson or close to the area.

Toby Music — Google review

One of my favorite local spots for happy hour. I could order the Brussels N' Bacon and just eat that and be happy. They're so crispy and tender with a great flavor. The Thai Chili Wings are also great!

Danielle DiNapoli — Google review

Absolutely excellent. Amazing service, and the chicken wings were the best I've had on long island. The fries were crispy and totally hit the spot. Great sandwiches and burgers too. To we will definitely be back! The best part is that the wings are GF! They use rice flour!!

Had a great time and a real nice burger! The beer was ice cold and served up with charisma and local knowledge by Vinny. When visiting Port Jefferson definitely stop in this historic building and enjoy the local charm. Vinny has great taste in music and doesn't leave you with an empty glass!

I really like the look of this place. My friend wanted to come for the "old west" aesthetic which the ceiling fan array provides otherwise it feels like a high end bar.The share plate of chicken dumplings came with six and they did not have much flavor.I ordered the Elk's Chicken Burger which came on a English Muffin, I forgot to choose between that and a brioche bun so they decided that without my input. It was a really large deluxe burger and definitely satifying with the optional cheese. I did not get much flavor from the burger though. The english muffin top was grilled on the inside to a crisp it was too hard to form fit with the large burger. My friend had the Land or Sea Ala Vodka, he chose land which is chicken. It came with 4 pieces of Garlic Bread. He was not satisfied with it. Not a lot of meat in the dish and he did not care for the sauce.

Zachary L. — Google review

Food was good, but the guy that was working at the bar was extremely rude, I had to ask for the menu because when I got there, there was nobody at the door so I went by myself. After a few minutes trying to catch the waiter’s attention he just looked at me and said “what do you need” I thought that was really rude. So I asked for the menu and he continued talking to me in a way that seemed he didn’t want to. Terrible service.

Geovana silva — Google review

Stick around cause I have a complaint about the service I experienced on Saturday night. I’m not gonna give a bad rating because I believe that this spot is good and the atmosphere is great. I’ve been here a couple times before for a drink and everything was fine. This time though, as I’m walking in the bouncer was laughing and smiling with someone else, like a coworker, then turns to my friend and I super serious. It was awkward because I didn’t feel very welcomed. You go to a bar or restaurant and usually the staff welcomes you, is friendly, smiling and ready to serve you and give you a good experience so that you will want to come back and enjoy your visit. My friend walked in and was looking deeper into the bar, from the front, but he didn’t walk past the bouncer. He didn’t walk in far at all. We stopped at the front to get our IDs checked, but the bouncer like pressed him on the shoulder like “helloo!! Hey!!” As if my friend was walking into the bar and not being cooperative, which wasn’t the caseJust very assumptive about us. That’s what it felt like. Not very welcoming or friendly attitude from him. I was leaving and he looked right at me , once again he’s laughing and talking with someone else, but didn’t say anything to me. No bye, have a good night, come again soon, hope you enjoyed your visit. NothingShould I be begging to be accepted into a venue that should want my business and that should want to give me good service so that they can have me as a consistent customer? Obviously the answer is no. Who would want to go out to somewhere where a staff member makes them feel unwelcome or not good enough to be there? Or not good enough to be kind, friendly and personable toward? Or how about going to a place where you feel like the bouncer is profiling you?Fortunately this guy was the only vibe killer I ran into, throughout the few bars i visited in the entire night

Ben Shively — Google review

Spent time with some family pre holidays to get out of the house. Friendly vibe, both with the regulars as well as the staff. Floors behind bars were cleaned to help the bartenders and attention was paid to all the stools and chairs to keep the place open, tidy, and inviting. There were festive decorations strung about and a good mix of music on the speakers. The place was even kind enough to lower the audio a smidge for my mother who has some trouble hearing.Twice while we were there a roulette-stye wheel came down from the ceiling and was spun to offer discount shots to people, as the bartender Tracy said "whenever they think its fun", and it was! Such a nice little watering hole, my parents might become regulars there!

Maxy Bebber — Google review

I sat at the bar, so I could not review the wait service. My friends and I came here after for an app and a drink. I had a delicious amaretto sour. The menu had good options; my friend chose a Reuben, and I a quesadilla. We decided on those instead of apps. You cannot go wrong with a quesadilla, but I tried the Ruben, and it was on point! The customers and bartenders were friendly. And the music was good. I'd define back.

Kilwins Port Jefferson is a traditional store that offers a wide range of chocolates, confections, and fudge. They also have their own original recipe ice cream. This friendly establishment is clean and provides seating for its customers. One highly recommended flavor is the toasted coconut, which is said to be delicious. It was a pleasant surprise when the counter person asked about topping preferences for the first time in years of visiting different ice cream stores.

I was visiting Port Jeff for dinner and I saw this very cute chocolate shop. They did such an amazing job with their holiday decor! They have a wide selection of different types of chocolates. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the offerings. They have premade baskets of chocolates that would be ideal for gifts this time of the year!!

Friendly place, clean and a place to seat. Try the toasted coconut, it's delish. For the first time after years of different ice cream stores, the counter person asked me which flavor I wanted on top. They did not have peach flavor in a to-go container, but she did not doubt a second to pack it herself. We are grateful for her kindness.

Love this shop in Port Jefferson. Great selection of hard ice cream, assorted chocolates, and chocolate dipped treats. The aroma as we walk through the door is always amazing! Great experience with a lot of nice people working there. Perfect after a day on the water or while strolling around town! Rob, Jenn and Jake.

Went in there on 7/13 at 3:05 pm and bought a cake and lots of chocolate. We have been there many times but this time was different. I asked them to write “Happy Birthday Dad” on the cake and the girl said she didn’t know how but she would ask the other people that worked there. Those people also said they didn’t know how to do it.I honestly couldn’t believe I’m buying a $60 cake and no one can write Happy Birthday on it. I asked again as I was paying and the young lady said the writing is made with “real icing” and only the owner knows how to do it and he’s not there. I’m not sure if this was bs or the truth but regardless it’s unacceptable. I am a customer who has been there many times buying cakes and chocolates but no more.

My first time & I couldn’t stop my eyes from wandering. Love the varieties they have for ice cream & chocolates & what not. Loved the toasted coconut ice cream with waffle cone. As the owner of the nearby Fox and Owl Inn bed and breakfast, I rely on local businesses to help elevate my own clients' experiences. Kilwins Port Jefferson is one of my go-to's when a client wants to create a special gift package for a loved one. Working with the Kilwins staff is always a pleasure, but I had a particularly lovely experience this past Friday evening and wanted to express my gratitude.Rather last-minute, my client had a long list of goodies to assemble into a custom gift box for his sweetheart. When I went to the shop, the staff was personable, friendly, and entirely patient as they worked swiftly to balance all of the requests while staying within budget and creating a big, gorgeous package full of little chocolate/candy boxes and bags. The fact that most items are made there on site makes it delightful to be in the store and the product so fresh.I was grateful to have delivered such a high quality product in the name of my business, and will be recommending and returning to Kilwins at every chance possible- for both my clients and my own gift and personal wants /needs. Thank you, Kilwins staff, for being so sweet and great at what you do!

Breakfast restaurant

Local's Cafe, situated in the heart of the historic Village of Port Jefferson, offers a diverse menu featuring eclectic cafe fare and pastries alongside espresso drinks and teas. The cozy and slightly industrial setting attracts a mix of students, local creatives, and tourists. In the morning, patrons can enjoy pastries, pancakes, and avocado toast while lunchtime brings options like burgers, quesadillas, and Indian-inspired bites such as chana masala wraps filled with spiced chickpeas.

Good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The French toast, toast with goat cheese, and vegan pancakes were all good. I'm glad the person at the counter let me know that the pancakes would have a different texture because of the almond flour so I wasn't put off by it; the flavor was really good so that made up for them not being fluffy.

Stopped in for a really tasty brunch Saturday of the Dickens Festival. The food was all good and so was the coffee. I definitely recommend the “Bumble” (orange juice + espresso).

Best cup of coffee I've had in a while. Just regular small coffee with oat milk. Reasonable prices. I had the Chana Masala wrap, which comes with a side salad, and it was very tasty. My friend had the goat cheese and honey toast, and it was also very fresh and delicious. Great outside sitting, great for people watching. Inside sitting is a very relaxed, lay back atmosphere. Most of the locals sit with a cup of coffee, plus their laptops and stay for a while. Over all a great experience.

I was in town and decided to stop in after seeing the reviews. Unfortunately, this place did not live up to the hype. Got the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and it was extremely disappointing and soggy. My friend got the sweet quinoa salad and it was ok they forgot to add dressing. I will most definitely never return and the atmosphere as you walk in is extremely depressing. Should’ve known better. Matcha lattes were fine though I guess

Nearby Friends Following Marjorie S. Wrote a review Local’s Cafe 5.0 star rating You can tell a lot about a person, especially a restauranteur, by the ketchups, condiments, and oils they choose. Owner Jitendra scored really high on my high-quality, healthful food scale on so many levels. For one thing, his salmon pita is so amazing, my husband insisted we stop in on the way to our hotel. They were just closing the kitchen, hadn't been their usual busy, but Jitendra caved and made us the pita salmon. Wow. It was more than wonderful. Memorable. It was served with a homemade wasabi-aioli, that oozed out over the lettuce and tomato on the sturdy delicious pita. So good. I eyed ketchup bottles for our side of French fries, which we ordered in addition to the included cole slaw--a well-done no mayo slaw that was generous and delicious. But the ketchup, I kid you not, was Trader Joe's, organic with NO HIGH FRUCTOSE. Awesome. And, like I said, tells me a lot about he quality of the food in this place.Forgot to ask him what kind of oil he uses in his fryer--hoping it's not Canola. I'll update when I find out. I would guess he uses a better oil though, based on the rest. Our cashier, Caroline, was lovely and helpful. This will be our go-to in Port Jefferson.August 2020

I go to locals super frequently. The best vegan items on the menu are the veggie burger with the home sauce, and the tofu bhurji. I’ve tried this place a few times. Each time they disappoint. Usually you will be ignored when going to pick up. The vegan food lacks so much! The egg sandwich was unsalted with soggy disgusting fries to go on side. Literally never going again. The only good thing is the location!

Came here for a 3rd time and service got way worse. A lot of newbies got hired so now the drinks are not only overpriced but also bad. Ordered a matcha latte and got pretty much just almond milk. Got takeout but told the server that we will be staying and didn’t get food brought over, food was served upside down, toppings forgotten, was given no napkins when I deliberately asked for them and only knives instead of utensils. Also very over priced. Got 2 plain pancakes for $12 while toast coffeehouse across the street serves them for $6 and has way better quality and service. Probably won’t be back. Menu never changes too

Ezhik21 — Google review

Great local spot where almost anything on the menu can be made GF. The food is made with really fresh ingredients. The coffee is excellent, and they have a good selection of teas and homemade brewed iced teas. It's well paced for each time of day so you're not waiting too long and also not feeling rushed. There's typically seating available although the small outdoor deck can fill up on a warm weekend day.

The Whiskey Barrel is a shrine dedicated to American spirits, offering an impressive array of nearly 100 bourbons. Their selection includes renowned brands like Makers Mark, Bulleit, and Old Granddad, as well as exclusive options like the 15-year-old Pappy Van Winkle, 20-year-old Michters, and Colonel E.H.

Very cool bar, warm, friendly. Server was very nice and knowledgeable. We tried 2 flights and a bunch of different foods. Reasonable prices and a huge selection. Food was very good. Apparently they also do brunch, so we will definitely have to check that out also.

The first time I tried The Whiskey Barrel I had a wonderful experience. Our server, Jovanna was terrific. I think I had the best French Fry I ever had in my entire life. I had the steak sandwich and was offered a variety of sides and had never heard of the Winder Fry and boy was I glad I tried it. Crispy, but fluffy and “puffy” inside. My friend had a salad topped with a heaping portion of perfectly cooked ahi tuna. The prices were very reasonable. I really liked the ambiance too. You didn’t feel like anyone was right on top of you. For sports fans there were plenty of TVs. The whiskey menu is extensive. There is even a cigar menu. I’m looking forward to going back soon.

Awesome and friendly service! Great food. Hit up there appetizer menu for easy sharing. The tuna poke "nachos", buffalo cauliflower wings, burned brussel sprouts, & fried pickles were all sooo delicious. I wish I had taken photos of it all.

Been wanting to come here for awhile. Had to sit at the bar since the tables were all reserved already which was a bummer but the bar was actually pretty comfortable. They had a massive whiskey selection set up on shelves behind the bar that was an awesome display. The service was great with helpful recommendations. We got the burnt brussel sprout appetizer which was so good, but unfortunately just a special so go soon if you want to try it. Also got the steak sandwich which was really good, but not a ton of steak on it. My wife got a custom burger which came out a little overdone, but not bad at all. The place itself wasn't huge inside and quickly got loud as more people came in but still was a nice night out. Would come back again to try the wings and other handhelds.

Restaurant

Curry Club at SaGhar is a popular Indian eatery offering an extensive lunch buffet and numerous vegetarian choices. Located in a traditional setting, the restaurant has been serving customers for over 15 years. They provide delivery services throughout Long Island, with additional charges based on distance. The new location, which combines Curry Club with SaGhar, boasts spacious and inviting dining areas upstairs that offer breathtaking views through open windows. The food at Curry Club remains consistently enjoyable as it has been for many years.

We have visited this place multiple times, and it never dissapoints. The staff is friendly, and the place is beautiful. There is a wide variety of Indian dishes available. Some of my favourites include chicken biriyani, chilli cheese naan, Mysore masala dosa, chicken club masala and mango lassi. In aditional to Indian cuisine, they also offer a kids' menu with options like mac and cheese and chicken nuggets. If you are in the mood for Induan food, I highly recommend this place.

Place has a great location. Rooftop outdoor dining. Food was excellent and the menu was plentiful. Prices were on point and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

What a beautiful location for this restaurant. We drove to the old location only to find out the restaurant had moved five months ago. We were met with with a beautiful duplex restaurant on the Port Jefferson waterfront. Being greeted by the owner, Kulwant, was a pleasure and he showed us to our table in one of the many dining rooms on property. The hostess greeted us and took care of our needs throughout the meal. We opted for the buffet which could have been better but it didn’t deaden our experience. Also, the dishes weren’t labeled, the vegetarian options were lackluster and the pakoras were very well done…as in left in the oil too long.Nevertheless, we will definitely be back for round two and a second chance.

The quality of service and food never falls short!! The upstairs patio is GORGEOUS! I sit there every time but even the decor and atmosphere inside is beautiful! I bring every person I know to curry club ❤️

If you order delivery from this restaurant, be aware they steal/keep tips intended for door dasher. Made a door dash delivery today to a dr office I deliver to all the time and they always tip. Receipt on bag said $5.95 tip for driver. After delivery complete there was only a $1 tip shown in door dash earnings from the delivery. I nicely asked customer about it and they confirmed they tipped 20% not $1. This is a pattern with these scum bags, 90% of orders have low or no tip for driver!

Fresh, high-quality, tasty, amazing food!!!! Just perfect, in every way. Lovely location by the water. Great and friendly service. Nice music and atmosphere. They are accommodating to vegans and those with dietary restrictions. This is easily my favorite Indian restaurant!! And one of my favorite restaurants on Long Island! Highly recommended.

Brunch restaurant

Coffee shop

Toast Coffee + Kitchen is a spacious and eclectic cafe that offers creative bites, lunch items, and late-night tapas. The new location provides ample space compared to the previous one. The modern atmosphere and diverse food and drink selection make it an ideal spot for brunch. Customers have enjoyed dishes like Delaney Street Omelette, Voodoo Quesadilla, Biscuits and Gravy with poached eggs, Bandito Burrito, Nutella French toast, and more.

Laura, our server, delivered exceptional service throughout our visit. Despite the crowd, she consistently checked on us, going above and beyond by even delivering a hot cup of coffee to go. The food was excellent, with a commendable variety of vegan options available. While I do miss the intimate ambiance of the village, the spacious and stunning environment of this newer location is truly noteworthy.

Sarah Rosenberg — Google review

Went here for brunch at around 1 pm in a Saturday. Ordered the kids scrambled eggs with a side of home fires and added sauted veggies but vegan and an americano. The other person ordered the kids Nutella French toast with a side of home fries vegan too. The server was extremely knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t vegan (even the minor details such as breads) as well as how the dishes were prepared. Service was super! The portions were giant, especially for a kids order but the prices super cheap. Even the drinks weren’t as over priced as at other places, especially being a coffeehouse with good quality coffee. The americano was only $3.25 for a large mug. Only issue was the seating arrangement is a bit too close for comfort, especially with covid. They also forgot to bring out the second side of home fries at first but promptly fixed that. All of the staff wore masks and everything was clean. This place is extremely busy so I suggest you join the waitlist and tell the server as soon as you arrive as they will most likely let you in despite it not being your turn yet. Otherwise you might have to wait in line outside. The second photo doesn’t do justice to the portion size. Some of the food was already eaten.

My favorite breakfast spot. Never disappoints. Coffee is excellent ☺️omelette are excellent. I got the Nutella strawberry French toast and my wife got she Mediterranean omelette. Love the vibes here.

I'm so glad they moved from down port. The food is still amazing and the staff is always running around. We had mimosa flights, they are holiday specials. The portions are huge. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. There is usually a wait to get in but it's well worth the wait. Usually between a half hour to 45 min. I highly recommend this place.

First time here. Ample parking and the restaurant is more spacious than the old location. Full menu of classic breakfast options. Food is fresh and portion size is big. Loved the omelette and the quesadilla. We only had black coffee so can’t comment on other coffee choices.

IT’S BACK! And at a huge location with so much space!!! The port Jeff location was definitely tiny and cramped compared to this one, so congrats on the move!My favorite go-to brunch place still amazing as always! This time I got the Delaney Street Omelette and the new Iced Coffee flight featuring toasted almond, caramel, mocha, and pumpkin spice. The home fries are the best ever. The iced coffee was ok, I have had better coffee but it was a cute experience 2 of them were unusually sour??? The ones with the whip were sour but it was not the cream that was the issue.

My friends recommended this place for breakfast.Fast, friendly service, nice cozy atmosphere, delicious coffee.I'll definitely come back for lunch or a cup of coffee.

Delicious looking forward to returning. My meal tasted very good but I was disappointed that the chicken was dark meat, I would have preferred chicken breast with my waffles but my fault for not reading that it indicated it was a thigh. If you like chicken thighs you will enjoy this dish, the chicken was perfectly fried. I loved my coconut pineapple mimosa. Our service was wonderful, shout out to Peggy! The use of technology was super cool and I am looking forward to coming back to try something else off their wide selection of choices.

First time trying toast after hearing about it for a long time. Decided to try this location on our way out east. It looked packed but we waited no more than 5 minutes. The service was quick and good. The food was absolutely amazing , from the pancakes to the corned beef hash and eggs which I got. Highly recommend

First time at this location, previously visited Patchogue. Very nice on the inside, really can't go wrong with breakfast food. Had to wait a while after placing order however it was a packed house. Wife and daughter enjoyed the mimosa flight. Would absolutely return and recommend.

Had a bridal shower here today for my soon to be sister in law. The food was phenomenal! The spread of muffins and fruit before our meal was great. Then for the main course we did a buffet with apple pancakes, Brioche French Toast, egg Scramble, home fries and bacon and everything was delicious!!! And the service we received by our host Jessica was so great! She did her best to be sure we all left happy!! Very happy we chose this establishment for this special celebration.

Toast was something my girlfriend has been wanting to take me to for awhile for brunch. I like the modern atmosphere. Something interesting I noticed, the A/C ventilation is wrapped with barbwire. The food and drinks selection is amazing. I had the Voodoo Quesadilla, Biscuits and Gravy with poached eggs and the Cookie Latte Flight. My girlfriend had the Bandito Burrito, Salted Carmel Latte and a short stack of Cinnamon Bun pancakes. Safe to say all the food was good. Being from the south, it was nice plus tasting decent biscuits and gravy up north.

Usually love toast. Today was a off day coffee was bitter. And the steak was well done, very chewy. Just ate it, and learned not something to order, specifically for $28.95. Told waitress, she didn't even take coffee off the bill. Probably better not to go on a Saturday. Stick with during the week.

Restaurant

The Secret Garden Tearoom is a traditional gift store and tea room that offers sandwiches and pastries in a charming environment. Upon entering, visitors are greeted warmly by the amiable owners and staff, who make them feel like part of the family. Whether one opts for Full Afternoon Tea or simply a Sandwich, they will not be disappointed as all the food is homemade and delectable.

The restaurant is decorated so nicely, the food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. We did not feel rushed at all. Very relaxing atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Sunday was our first time here! What a beautiful experience!! It’s like walking into an enchanted garden. The front of the store is set up like a gift shop with beautiful, meticulously created displays of tea pots and tea cups and so much more! The owner was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. We entered the tea room and sat in the center at a table for two. Beautiful decor and tables are all set up with different tea cups. There is a back room where you can try on a variety of hats and wear them during your tea time. Highly recommend doing the High Tea tower. You get to start with amazing scones and work through delicious little sandwiches and puffs with different fillings. Work your way down to 3 dessert bites to choose from. ( The carrot cake was my favorite). I asked for a treat for a birthday and they came out with the absolute cutest little cake with a tiny happy birthday written on the top and it was absolutely delicious (kudos to the owner that writes those tiny little letters). Our whole experience was topped with excellent service by the most adorable, friendly and efficient server, Scarlett ( and her helper). Call and make a reservation! Especially if you have a little girl, a great experience!

The attention to detail is impeccable right down to the little cards that are placed at each setting with an inspirational message. And the gift shop at the entrance is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this Café if you are looking for a unique experience that you will never forget. I would give 10 Stars if I could!!

While limited hours, this tea room is the best one in Suffolk County. Before you enjoy your tea, make sure to go back toward the bathroom and grab a hat - I didn’t see them until after my meal. The scones are soft and buttery and dare I say it, don’t necessarily need clotted cream and jam. Huge tea selection in smaller but curated floral space. For the kid’s menu, I’d ask them to swap out the kid’s scone for the adult ones - the sprinkles and icing while pretty honestly doesn’t add to it and we found the ones the adults in the party had, just tasted better! I brought home a few coconut scones I liked them that much. Service was slow, but staff was very friendly and attentive - it might be that they were down someone that day or we went during a very busy time, I don’t know. I’d not recommend sharing a an afternoon tea tower only because we didn’t find it enough for two people but that was on us! Just get your own. They accommodate allergies without issue and also offer more substantial fare as well and although we did have a little trouble making a reservation, we eventually were able to. Great location as well, right on main.

Carolyn De Melo — Google review

My friends surprised me with a reservation here last Sunday as a early birthday brunch. Because I don't live in the area I was unfamiliar with the place and pleasantly surprised. Very quaint Victorian decor, every color of pastel from floor to ceiling, even the bathroom was decorated like something from another era. The attention was not limited to the decor, as the menu was very much high tea with choices of tea towers (which looked massive) scones of the day with fresh cream and jam, variety of inventive small sandwiches (loved the French onion roastbeef sandwich and Turkey Brie Jam Croissant) and of course- a substantial list of teas from English breakfast and Darjeeling to more exotic teas like chocolate and marshmallow. Our service was excellent and the small place filled quickly as they have limited hours. I bought 5 different hand lotions in the gift shop on the way out I would love to return again as this place is quite unique (though the lack of parking is typical in any busy town on Long Island, especially one featuring many small businesses near the shore) I would love to bring back some of my tea loving friends in the future after this top notch experience.

Eating here was an amazing experience! Such a cozy, beautifully decorated tearoom with such a warm ambience. The waitress was super attentive and friendly. And of course the food was amazing! Our party was vegetarian and they were able to accommodate us. The vegetarian sandwiches were super tasty, the tea selection was fantastic, and the scones were delicious (super flaky)! The best part was the gentleman in the front who was super friendly and welcoming. He even pulled out our chairs for us! Would highly recommend a visit!

I am visiting from Texas and this was hands down the best experience I have at a tea room in a long time! Even after close you could hear the manager customer relating and calling clients to confirm appointments and taking new appointments! We called 15 mins before we got there and they got us in immediately and it was only 10 mins before close. We weren’t rushed and even the server was a great conversationalist and had amazing recommendations! My favorite food had to be the chai scone and chicken salad on cranberry bread.

What a beautiful place. So aesthetically done ❤️ A tea cafe and gift shop. Just so lovely. What a variety of teas (and most of it is imported from India)Had the chance to meet the owner Mr. Frank who was very friendly and also informed us that they serve only tea and no coffee at all 😀Mind you, don’t forget to pre book, as they’re usually always full. So don’t be disappointed if you don’t get a table. You can always take great pictures. It’s so beautifully done up.

Portside Bar & Grill is a relaxed gathering spot with an outdoor patio, offering a variety of beers and pub grub. It is tucked away in a picturesque location and has a rustic ambiance. The restaurant has a charming village feel to it, making it an ideal place for dog owners to enjoy their meal in the outdoor seating area. The food at Portside Bar & Grill is delicious and reasonably priced, providing good value for money.

My fiancé and I live this place. The food and service is great. We recommend the wings, clams, and turkey club sandwich. Love the outside dining as well. And inexpensive.

I just tried to get a lunch with my girlfriend and my dog so I ask if it was possible order some food and eat outside and the bartender was so rough with completely no manners and she just say: “I’m no gonna serve you outside, if you want take it to go, eat outside if you want or go somewhere else to eat” I just was asking if it was possible but no necessary answer like that. Definitely never come back to that place

It seems to be designed as a very basic sports bar with alcohol and bar food... which is perfectly fine if you want to catch the game and have a beer. 👍Also there's a ~3% up charge for using plastic.

If you think about coming here… Don’t. When looking online you see great reviews but in person you can just smell bad attitude from it’s open doors. Bar was well kept, location was perfect and overall a great looking place for a competitive price in the food industry. Surrounded by other dining options. Upon seating ourselves we were curious if we should just make our own drinks and cook our own food. No one had the thought to approach us. Changing our seats and sitting at the bar was the only way to get their attention, but we’re greeted with laughs unaware if it was at us or something funny. The food was fantastic but hospitality was piss poor. Being a bar tender is more than making drinks. It’s about customer service to which our server had none. Rather than refill our drinks our “bartender” gladly made himself a drink and had more interaction with his friends and taking shots with them. I paid for the food and tipped him well aware the tip was not earned. Lucky to make it back on the ferry in a hurry knowing it will be my last time ever coming here

Had potential but service was horrible, 1 waitress working wasn’t to busy but she was overwhelmed. A waiter was trying to help but he wasn’t helpful. Waited 30 minutes for drinks and the soda was out then another 20 minutes to get them replaced. The Food was absolutely horrible and an instant stomach ache. Crazy clams, mussel’s, steak sandwich, worst lobster roll I’ve ever had. Gonna be a long night by the toilet hope it’s not food poisoning. Don’t waste your time or settled stomach!!

This place is very welcoming and has a great vibe about it.We took a late ferry in December and arrived as most places were closing. The kitchen was open a little later and we were allowed to bring our small, well-behaved dogs inside. The bartender was super accommodating and friendly. And the food and beers were spot on.I would recommend this place for anybody looking for a nice and chill spot.

P Correa — Google review

Ate here recently and had a terrible meal. Wait staff was friendly, but the food was not great. I had a watery obviously frozen piece of chilean sea bass probably old. I know I shouldn't have chosen that as my meal in this place should have stuck with burger or pasta or fried foods. Anyway, I asked the bartender if anything came with the fish, (she was new), she looked at the menu and we concurred that there were no sides and that I could order a side separately for $6 each. So, out comes the fish with mashed potatoes on the plate and asparagus after I was told that I needed to order sides separately, and with it came a whole other plate of asparagus (mushy like they were old). The mashed potatoes were cold and the fish was not hot. The bartender told the manager that I didn't want to pay for the extra plate of asparagus because I thought the fish didn't come with anything. He looked at the menu and admitted that it didn't say that the fish comes with sides (which I didn't get to choose btw). He ignored that and poured me another glass of wine which I really didn't want. I'll never go there again the manager was super rude when that confusion happened with the menu. So many other choices in the area I would steer clear of this place unless they somehow get their act together.

Unfortunately, a lot of the other negative reviews about this place were accurate. The food was very eh and the drinks were mostly not good. The mojito wasn’t bad but the frozen drinks - just stay away they were bland! The food and drinks take a long time to come out.Fried Calamari - this was ok. Better than the rest of the food. The Pretzel was good but the cheese it came with was only ok. I also got the chicken skewers because at 7:30 pm they were already out of the Chicken Po-Boy. Chicken skewers weren’t great. Rice wasn’t good, chicken was bland and veggies were tasteless. The food was overall very bland. I wouldn’t come back here. The view was pretty nice from outside where we ate which was, aside from the company, the nice part of this dinner. Not recommended to come here.

We went here for a Mother’s Day dinner. We had reservations for 5pm and we got there at 5:10pm. We were there from 5:10pm to 8:45pm because service was so horrible. The waiter/server was great. We all felt bad for the staff because the restaurant was over packed and under staffed. Clearly this is an management issue. The food was cold. The glasses were dirty with lipstick marks. Some of us were missing utensils and didn’t get them quick enough. Water was never offered after the first time. We waited over 20 min for beer. We waited over an hour for main course to arrive. It was cold in the room as well. Overall - horrible service for large groups on a busy day. They should not accommodate more people than they can actually handle. The service was great. We bought so many dishes to try and we had leftovers for the next day. There was a wedding upstairs and the whole place had a great vibe.

We have been loyal customers at Curry Club over the last decade and a half. We dined in, mostly at their previous location off Stony Brook campus, briefly at their second location in Nesconset several years ago. We did a lot of catering - thankfully they deliver. This was our maiden visit at the new location - the joining of the ways with SaGhar. The new place looks amazing! The dining area upstairs is huge, airy, open windows all around, gorgeous views. The food is exactly what we have enjoyed over so many years.

We had a great time. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back. A special thanks to Dan!

We've been here a few times for quick drinks and always had a nice time. 2 weeks ago, our group of came in for brunch and we had the best time. Our food was fantastic, and the drinks (lots of them) were perfect. So yeah, we had a great meal and drinks at a restaurant, just what you would expect. What was really great was the service. Everyone that stopped by our table went beyond what was necessary to make our meal great, but to ensure we had a great time. The staff were fun and personable and super attentive. When my wife called to make our reservation she asked a few questions and what stuck out was that she was told, 'we will do whatever you need, we just want to make sure you have a good time'. And that they did 100%. Cant wait to return soon.Great location.Great food.Great drinks.Great prices.Great staff.Really great staff!

First time coming here and the food was delicious, and they had a live band playing :) surprised to see that another review said the food wasn’t fresh because I felt the opposite. Portions were hugeeeeee too and I loved the setting!Really surprised at some of the other reviews because my friend and I had such a great time and were glad that we chose to try out this restaurant 🤷‍♀️

We come here every year for a holiday lunch. There was 7 of us and our server/host/bartender/food runner was amazing! He gave great suggestions and was extremely attentive. He made our lunch that much better. Can't wait to come back again.

Stopped by on my Habitat for Humanity tour and had a free beer. Delicious IPA. Had a burger and avocado sliders. The food was good but not spectacular. Pub food is always good comfort food. This is a local pub with good music and vibes. Very relaxed. Nothing fancy, which is what you want in a place like this. Bartenders were good. Go have a burger and check out a band and beer. Be aware: Port Jeff parking is expensive, the most expensive LI town so far. Cost is almost 5 bucks for three hours?! It's like $2 bucks almost everywhere else and most towns have more to offer. Just be prepared.

Mike D (Barsnobs) — Google review

Gone there a few times and hung at the bar. They have a good selection of tap brews. I have had sandwiches there each time and I enjoyed the food. The menu had a good selection and the portions were plentiful. Service was very good. Some of the chairs at the bar are very uncomfortable, don't sit in those. Will try it again for sure to give a more detailed review. Parking in port Jeff costs money unless you park in the town lot.

We went here for Father’s Day on a whim, and let me tell you it was amazing. The food was great but the real thing that sold us was the service. We had Justin as our waiter and he was amazing. His attention to our table and his personality made the experience that much better. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you again to Justin!

Stopped in for Happy Hour. It was a bit quiet, but I really enjoyed the excellent craft beer selection and Happy Hour food selections. Their maple bacon wings won a best wings award so I had to put them to the test and they passed with flying colors. Great wings and great beer on Happy Hour specials!!!!

Thank you to Chris and the wonderful, friendly staff at Port Bistro & Pub for accommodating us this past weekend for my mom’s surprise 65th birthday. We had to find an indoor venue last minute due to the rain and because we organized a private paint nite session as well (with @paintnite_ny). Chris replied to my request very quickly and made our party happen!! Our party of about 30 really enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. A gem in the heart of Port Jeff! Once again, the staff was amazing and incredibly accommodating and patient with us. We’re so grateful for everything!!!

Camille Bianca — Google review

Thought we had 6 people but a bunch of friends joined in on our escapade! If anyone knows port Jefferson there’s not many places that can accommodate 13 people on a moments notice. We found port bistro & pub and called to see if they could accommodate within 15 minutes, they assured us they could! The staff bent over backwards to assure we were comfortable with our accommodations, which we were, considering we were flying blind! Food was fresh and amazing ! No one in our party had any complaints except that the portions were so huge that we all left with doggie bags! As we left and started posting our reviews, we noticed a cpl very undesirable reviews for this establishment! Not sure if they were at the same place that we were but maybe some people just seem entitled these days! Don’t let the few nay sayers deter you from trying a really comfy great food place cuz they thought they deserved more or better!

Christine Weigold — Google review

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I have never experienced so much disgusting disrespect. To give the full story, my brother called and asked if they were available for 10 people with 2 dogs. We were told yes and went to the restaurant. Once we got there a woman explained let me show you the place and you let us know. Trying to make the best of the situation and giving a new business a chance we said okay set it up. We ordered drinks and not once but twice we were told that the deliveries weren’t made in the morning after we ordered. Normally if someone knows something is not available, the waitress would explain this at the time of the order. It was not explained to us. The second time we said okay cancel the drink order we’re leaving. In the most unprofessional way, a woman came to the door and said “are you kidding me? We just arranged all of the tables for you and now you’re leaving?!” I expressed to the woman this is unprofessional. We are the customers. We’re uncomfortable. There’s no room for connection for my family. We’re leaving. The woman continued to express her frustrations to us as the customers. We went across the street to a different restaurant that has CLEAN high chairs for babies, and drinks that were Available and a waiter had the audacity to follow us 45 minutes later across the street with a bill for drinks that we NEVER received. This gentleman said he was openly recording us and threatened to call the cops on us. It is illegal to record someone without their permission. Only law enforcement is able to legally record us without anyone’s permission. We told the waiter to call the cops. This waiter screamed in my brothers face, over my niece and nephew, and threw a bill in my brothers face. Once you threaten my family and meet any of them with aggression, all gloves are off. I did yell back because you will not talk to my family this way. Shout out to the manager of Nantucket who stuck up for me and my family and I, and told the waiter to get off of their property. I will NEVER EVER go back to this place and will be creating a content piece for my thousands of followers to know to never spend their money at an establishment so low grade, so disrespectful. This waiter, this business has no respect for families and I will be using all platforms to make everyone aware before the summer season. I urge you to spend your money any where else. This place is absolutely dirty and does not respect patrons. You are warned! I recommend nothing from this place. Visit Nantucket across the street for fabulous food and fabulous drinks with a staff that is professional and respectful.

Barito Tacos & co*cktails is a trendy and contemporary eatery that offers a variety of Mexican cuisine alongside an extensive co*cktail selection. The food is enjoyable, with standout dishes including the delectable cauliflower bites served with a tantalizingly spicy hot mango sauce. The bean pupusa is also highly recommended, complemented by its generous portion size and accompanying coleslaw or salad.

Great place for drinks and appetizers! Loved the nachos! Huge portion comes out on a baking sheet. California’s are delicious! Our waitress was amazing! Very friendly and very efficient! Decor is very inviting. Place was packed, very hard to have a conversation. But so much fun!!

I have been here in NY for 5 years and have eaten at so many places and have had so many people serve us and wait on us in different restaurants and for the first time, me and my wife had someone surpass all our experiences thus far here in NY... Vanessa was AMAZING!!!!! This young lady carried her self with such professionalism that it really took us by surprise. She was fast and efficient with everything my wife and I needed. The food was great and what she suggested was just as she said it would be. Usually, employees will suggest expensive items but she did not!!! She suggested what she thought was GREAT and boy was she right!!!! If you are looking for a place that is fun to be in with great food but more importantly great SERVICE....you have to come here to Barito Tacos & co*cktails and ask for Vanessa.....you will NOT be disappointed!!!!!!! Keep up the GREAT work Vanessa and me and my wife will be seeing you again FOR SURE!!!!!!

This is a delicious Mexican spot. It has a very cool vibe and design. Definitely feel very lively especially on the weekends and during the summer. I ordered the shrimp bowl, fritter fries, and crispy cauliflower. The bowls were huge, enough food for two people! The cauliflower, especially with the mango habanero sauce, was amazing!! Our server was very friendly and helpful. Had a great experience overall.

Yeah, unseasoned food. I'm pretty sure the steak was old and you can taste some weird anise seasoning to hide the old taste. Everything was bad. The fajitas, the chicken baritos, tacos, mac and cheese, etc. The sangria was ok, a bit watered down. I'm not sure if they've been loosing business due to covid, but it shouldn't be taken out on the food. The place and waitstaff were great and very attentive.

Half off Taco Tuesdays. The tacos were good and I loved the menu choices and how the flavors blended well. I do wish though, that the portion sizes were a bit larger because I still left a bit hungry compared to other taco places. But I’d definitely still recommend eating at this place! It’s right by the port Jeff harbor so the views out the windows are so nice and the place is well decorated and has a great ambiance to it. Fast service.

The space is so open and bright! The servers are polite and friendly. The food is awesome and the co*cktails are tasty. We went in the afternoon for a date, but will have to come back to check out the night DJ.A great bonus is that it is located in such a great town. We can go window shopping, get dessert, or take a trip to the park. Great way to work off the food and drinks.

This is a sponsored review. We visited on a Saturday night.THIS PLACE IS SO COOL! Incredible Mexican fusion cuisine! Highly recommend:+ big mac tacos (the flavor!)+ dessert empanadas (try the oreo👀)+ literally any of their co*cktails+ corn fritters+ guac and dip (the portion😍)+ steak fajitas+ nacho crunch wrap (again, the flavor!)The owner Matt and his team run an awesome gem. Great service, great food, nice place and nice music. Careful with the spicy food. It might be a tad too above average for some. Their seasonal co*cktails are pretty good and the staff is really nice.

If you are in or near Port Jefferson, this restaurant is a must-visit. It is clean, the food is delicious, and the customer service is always great. My advice to new customers is to be careful with the food portions.Their portions are massive, so be careful not to over-order, thinking you will get small portions like other restaurants. The prices are also great. For me and my wife, I only paid $70 for the following:1 burrito1 order of tostones3 tacos1 chicken enchilada2 Jarritos

Israel Santana — Google review

Good food, absolutely the worse horrible service and the place had a 1/3 of its tables empty so there is no excuse, people were leaving after sitting there waiting forever . Even after pointing it out politely nothing changed and the problem was just ignored. I Will give them a second chance

Scott Sferrazza — Google review

Food is good. I had take out and the cauliflower bites were delicious. The hot mango sauce that comes with it is amazing and super spicy! I also had the bean pupusa which was very good. I like the size & that it came with the coleslaw/salad on top. Also went in for lunch, the service was a bit slow considering there were only 3 other tables but it seemed like the waitress was also playing bartender. Drinks were good. Their chips & salsa are fun cause they’re big, round, fried tortillas. Very good. Location is in prime spot and it’s upstairs so kind of away from the chaos of Main Street during the summer which is nice. Will be back.

Had a really good meal here! Excellent & personable service, great margaritas, and solid food.We went on a Tuesday and even though it was busy, our food & drinks came out fast! Our server was great.Highly recommend the Nachos and the Crispy Cauliflower. We tried some of the dishes on their specials menu & the Nacho Crunchwrap is a must! As far as drinks go, they’re creative and delicious. I’m picky with my margaritas but these were seriously good. Rainbow Empanadas were awesome — never had anything like it!!Highly recommend this spot!

Matt and his staff from Barito are amazing! I was able to pull off a “Taco ‘bout a Baby” themed baby shower thanks to them! The food was amazing, all of our guests raved about it and they also made me a fun teal colored alcoholic punch for our guests to suit the theme of this baby boy shower! They were so gracious to allow me time to set up ahead of time with the cutest combination of baby and taco themed balloons from HopPopCreations with a specific area for our adorable cake from Sweet Eats by Rita and gift table which was so needed and perfect! Can’t wait to go back now that the weathers nice.. the location is also prime! After we walked around the town of port Jefferson, did some shopping, went down by the water and walked to the best park and homemade ice-cream place for the kids! Thanks again, Barito! I only visited The WaterView once, but if someone plans to attend a popular event there, like the 4th of July celebration, it is advisable to have a reservation ready for the security guards (who may have been the town's police). Parking can be difficult during such events. I heard from friends and family who attended the 4th of July celebration that the fireworks were amazing and offered a close-up experience. Recently, I attended a wedding at The WaterView and was truly impressed.

Delicious, there for a bridal shower, very accommodating for my special gluten free diet. Great service. Beautiful view over the LI sound.

I've only been here once, but if anyone is to go here during a popular event, like the 4th of July event, have your reservation on hand for the police-like security guards (they actually might need been the towns police, I'm not sure) as your driving to the event. I usually don't give such a terrible review but our experience was unacceptable. Let's first start with about 4 tables of people in the restaurant. The bar was empty so they were obviously not busy. After we received our first round of drinks our waitress was MIA. After finally ordering our meal it took somewhere around 40 minutes for our meal to arrive. In the meantime we wanted another round of drinks but the waitress was nowhere to be found and the bartender wasn't behind the bar either. Even with the restaurant manager there who was watching the Ranger game in the bar area. You would think he would have realized how long it was taking for us to receive our meals. When we were done with our dinner we were not asked if we wanted coffee/Tea or even desert. She just brought over our check. This is a one and done visit. We were a table of 4 by the way.

The service was wonderful. The location is BEAUTIFUL (inside and out), but there was NO SHADE provided for the wedding and since the wedding started late and it was insanely hot, we were pleasantly surprised no one passed out.Once we got to co*cktail hour, everything was wonderful even though we could only find a table outside (in the shade provided by an umbrella). Since there are very high bushes near the wedding site where we were, it blocked a lot of the natural breeze (and all of the view) that would have helped make the wedding itself bearable. We sat VERY far away from the front, clinging to shade, which had long left us by the time the wedding actually started.I'd recommend getting shade if you get married outside or holding the wedding inside. The location is gorgeous, but can be brutal. I'd give it a 5 if we hadn't been so miserable during the ceremony itself.

Kat Vancko — Google review

Beautiful views. We had a good experience. There were some problems with two of our dishes being undercooked but they were quick to remedy the problem. Everything was delicious and the they sent us a round of drinks and dessert for the inconvenience. The chef even came to the table to apologize. Frozen yogurt shop

Restaurant

Yogo Delish, an ice cream shop, received mixed reviews. Some customers found the yogurt to be below average, while others felt it was better than other places they've tried. The staff was friendly and the store maintained high cleanliness standards. One customer praised the amazing taste of a toasted marshmallow dessert, but wished that the Georgia peach flavor had a tangier taste like most people expect. The variety of toppings received a satisfactory rating.

Had the most pleasant experience ❤️ Thoroughly enjoyed my Midnight Caramel River froyo. Absolutely delicious I will be dreaming about it for years to come

Purchased this today 9/14 6pm and couldn’t believe the 2 workers actually thought this was ok to serve a customer for $6. I can see the bottom of the cup! Too bad the poster in the window didnt look like this maybe we would have walked past. Not one to ever complain or write reviews but this is bad!

Philip Torregrosa — Google review

$19.88 Need I say more? Probably not but please humor me... I was told the cup held 16 ounces at .61 cents an ounce. I told the young lady that I tought 10 bucks was crazy but decided to proceed anyway because I was in a rush and didn't want to have to stop at the grocery store. It is self serve so I filled container with a few different flavors. The girl had me swipe my card, which I did. Then she asked that I sign the receipt. I did not have my glasses so I asked "does that say $19 or 9?" she said $19. I told her I am not taking it and want my card refunded. She said she cannot and called the owner. I thought for sure he would give me my money back. Nope. The owner was rude and I knew it was going nowhere. I took my 20 dollars worth of yogurt and left and will never go back. Lesson learned. I can think of many ways the owner could have handled this that would have satisfied both of us but he DID NOT CARE. *BE AWARE OF THEIR PRICING BEFORE STEPPING IN THE DOOR.

Marci Brown — Google review

The yogurt was sub par. I've had better and believe me, I have had worse. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean. That toasted marshmallow was amazing. I wish the Georgia peach had that tangy peach taste that most are familiar with. The toppings I give a B due to the variety. Cookie dough, cherries and more. For anyone asking, they close at 10 and 11 throughout the week. Not terrible, but they are more sweet than flavorful

Was out at Port Jeff and wanted a refreshing and delicious smoothie! Google sent me this way. I was excited to try a new place. I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie. The employee seemed new, so I didn’t mind the long wait it took to make my smoothie, even though I was the only person there. Once I got the smoothie, I left without trying it because I had people waiting on me outside. As we were walking, I tried the smoothie. It was completely warm! It was 72 degrees and breezy, we had only been outside for a minute and my smoothie was warm. It was also astonishingly sweet. I contemplated not going back, but I was shocked with how warm my drink was. I had to go back. When I went back inside I asked if the smoothie could be re-made, with ice and without whatever sweetener they used in the first one. The employee said she could not make me a new smoothie. I had only taken a sip. I asked, politely, why it could not be remade and was told it was policy. I asked if I could then have a refund and they could throw the smoothie out. That was also against their policy. I left the smoothie with them anyway and left. I’m sorry but i’m not going back. I suggest going somewhere else.

Nichole — Google review

Do not come here. I asked for an Acai smoothie which was on the menu. The girl serving at the front didn't know how to make one and even had to call her boss. She couldn't reach her boss and then told me that the acia smoothie is not available. So then I asked for the 4 berry smoothie and it was warm and too sweet not refreshing at all. So I told her about it and she seemed not to care. So I decided to get a frozen yogurt and asked her if I can get a discount since I could not drink the smoothie. She said she couldn't do that. So I had to pay full price for both the smothie and frozen yogurt even though I barely drank the smoothie. This was today 9/17 @ 3:00 PM.

I would give zero if I could. Walked in at 8pm (when they close at 9) and was told I couldn’t get toppings since they’re closing. Was never told when we initially walked in or anything. Unprofessional and would rather spend my money elsewhere. Go to any other ice cream location in Port Jeff you’ll get better service and kinder employees. Again 0/5Edit: Yes this was tonight 10/7 at 8:03pm. Also I literally wanted ONE topping.

The ambiance at PJ Harbour Club is exceptional, with its waterfront location offering panoramic views of the port and ferry. The atmosphere is delightful, complemented by a selection of fine wines and delectable dishes that make for a truly enjoyable evening. The restaurant's upscale nature is accentuated by attentive and friendly staff who ensure your needs are met. The menu boasts creatively prepared food, with the three-course meal highly recommended.

Went with a group of 4 last night, which was a Saturday night, for dinner. Was seated right away, the restaurant was half empty. The ambiance was beautiful, but that’s about all we enjoyed. The waitstaff was extremely young, non experienced children who couldn’t even tell us the details of the dishes on the menu. We sat at a table adjacent to the server station so there was barely any privacy and the servers were not at all considerate of us as customers. The appetizers, soups & salads were just mediocre and the portions were small. Porterhouse for 2 and monk fish seemed to have no taste, but it was hard to tell since the food was freezing cold. As two couples and parents of young children we wanted to have a night out and enjoy a leisurely meal, but as our main dishes came out the other patrons in the restaurant seemed to have finished up their meals and the staff/managers started to prepare for the Sunday brunch in the morning. The music was shut off, we were told the bar was closing and the head lady in charge started screaming across the restaurant about how the tables needed to be set for the following morning. It was only 10:00 pm. We were very uncomfortable. In addition, the prices are definitely above average - so we expected an above average dining experience. Disappointed would be an understatement.

My mom and I booked the PJ Harbour Club for my sister’s bridal shower today. The restaurant was incredible - service was incredible, the food was delicious, they were incredibly accommodating with whatever we wanted to set up and however we wanted to do it. I can’t say enough great things about Joe and his staff. They even helped us pack up all of our gifts and put them in a service elevator so we could more easily bring them downstairs. 10/10 would recommend hosting your event here and we can’t wait to back for dinner service.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Big portions and reasonably price. Nice views of Port Jeff Village and the ferry. There is something for everyone on the menu. Great wine list and plenty of co*cktails to choose from. Would recommend highly.

This is what every restaurant should strive to be. The service was 5 star and the food was amazing. Everything from appetizers to dessert was perfect. The wait staff was welcoming and extremely professional and we felt very appreciated. It also has a great location overlooking the harbor. This will be our new go to place in Port Jefferson.

M Calaci — Google review

If I could give more stars I would! Beautiful restaurant over looking the harbor in Port Jeff, with a view of the ferry. Upscale restaurant, with the most attentive staff I have ever come across. They made sure we were taken care of. The types of food was creatively prepared. I would recommend the three course meal. I will definitely be returning, what a treat.

Pizza Takeout

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings is a casual dining chain known for its charred-crust pizzas, wings, subs, and Italian dishes. The modern setting provides a great atmosphere to enjoy fresh and tasty food. Guests praise the friendly and courteous staff, particularly mentioning bartender Ashley for her excellent service. Customers often visit on Friday nights to savor an Italian old fashioned with filthy cherries, although there has been feedback about the discontinuation of this drink option.

Ally is the best. Everyone around us also talked highly as well. She had the whole dining room, if not most of it and got everything we needed effortlessly even when she had many customers as well. She was very attentive and informative, one of the best servers I’ve ever had, not only there but any restaurant. We asked questions about portions and she suggested the perfect amount for me and my friend. I’d be sad to go back and not have her be our server. Our food was hot and tasted great too, besides our stellar service.

I like the chicken wings and meatballs from this restaurant. The beef meatballs are so tender and tasty, and my son loves it. I love the chicken wings which are soft and tasty too! Other food like pizza are great too!Only one comment: Why not serve pasta with meatballs?

It's a great monthly date night choice for my wife and I. We both enjoy the food and they add new items occasionally so you can often try something new. Our bartender/server, Ally B., is the best! She treats us well and knows what beverages to serve without asking. The entire staff is always friendly. Its a busy location but I would highly recommend

Great place w/ fresh tasty food. Friendly & Courteous staff. Bartender Ashley is an absolute pleasure. She is pleasant, upbeat, provides excellent service as does server Emma & manager Jessica. We come every Friday night & I order Italian old fashioned w/filthy cherries. However, I was informed this evening that you would no longer carry them..We hope that corporate will reconsider this decision as they make the drink!!! Anthony’s is a great place! All the best!

It's a nice place but could rate higher with a little effort. The staff was great... Busboy was on top of everything, waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. The wings, kinda of a surprise... The original were excellent and done different than we are use to... With caramelized onions and maybe roasted... Very good... The dry rub ones were good as well. The pizza... 2 different kinds... One with a gluten free crust and the other smothered in different meat... Both very good.Where it became a only a three star experience unfortunately was in how clean it appeared... Tables shouldn't be left with sticky residue... Shouldn't be old dried food stuck to various things ( the pizza tray holders ). I kinda want to put this one on management... Didn't see a manger around and a team needs leadership... He/She would be pointing things out like a tables that needed more attention to detail.I'd go back for another try... But that might be about it if the tables look and feel the same and nothing changes... Hope it was just an off night because everything else was pretty solid.

I gotta say this has become our family's favorite Pizza spot.... coal fire!!!! That's exactly what caught my eye, it makes such a big difference in taste....this place is supper cute! dim light, modern, relaxing, cool, chill vibe...never falls short! From pizza to garlic knots, chicken wings, Sandwiches, all the way to dessert... Great Americanos, amazing tiramisu and cheesecake! Prices are great you can never go wrong on anything on their menu.

We recently had a Fundraiser here for our Track & Field team and the owners and staff were amazing and very accommodating. We had many people coming and going throughout the day on our behalf and everyone enjoyed their time and the food. Highly recommended!

Came in to watch the playoff games and enjoy some food. Everything came out quickly and it was all delicious. The server, Sam, was very sweet and attentive. The manager (who is very handsome btw) came over to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Overall it was a great experience like always and we will be back.

Dunkin', a well-established establishment, offers a range of delicious breakfast dishes and an assortment of coffee beverages. Situated by the harbor, it provides a pleasant environment for customers to enjoy their cup of joe alongside their laptops. The store's staff is known for being exceptionally amicable, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors.

this place sux lol XD not good. the guy behind the counter was a big meanie and kicked me out because I'm black. The food was also terrible. Will not be going back anytime soonThe picture is me for reference

William O'Connell-Carbonell — Google review

I walked in and the place was empty except for one guy sitting there who wasn't eating or having anything. I approached the counter and the woman working looked at me, broke eye contact and didn't say anything for about 30 seconds until I spoke up. No energy, no anything. Maybe a hangover since yesterday was New Years? She mumbled something and I looked at the menu then started ordering. She said 'hold on' and started doing something else for a bit before taking my order. They didn't have the thing I wanted so I ordered something else. When I asked for food that had different versions, she didn't ask which version, she didn't say anything. The only thing she really said the whole time was hold on and then my price order. I paid, I didn't get my receipt. While waiting, I noticed the state of the store. The floors were so sticky wherever that my boots kept getting stuck, the floor was visibly dirty. There were broken outlets, walls and ceilings seemed filthy. Tables looked unclean. Displays weren't straight and were dirty. After about 15 minutes, I got my food and no drink. I reminded the male worker of my drink and he made it for me. He was fine, responsive. It seemed like the female worker wasn't doing anything. The energy was really low and really uninviting. I got my hot chai and it was lukewarm as he handed it to me. At this point, I was really put off by the whole experience of the place, and my boots literally sticking straight to the floor, that I went to leave and ... uh, there's no door knob or door handle to exit. It's just the flat glass door. Which is a total safety violation. So when you've got all your food and your drinks, just lean on the filthy door that has no door knob to exit. When I got to a table outside to eat (1-2 minutes later), I realised that the food I got was actually completely ice cold in the center and the cheese wasn't melted. Cold coffee and cold food. Straight from the counter. Awful energy. Completely filthy. Felt unsafe and unwelcoming as a customer. I'm never going back. Thanks. Starbucks is literally directly across the street.

J M — Google review

After sitting down with my siblings, I was told by an employee that I had to order something in order to sit. I told the employee that it was not a problem, and he said to me,” better make it quick.” Never been so disgusted by the behavior of an employee and will stick to Starbucks across the street. Customer care is better.

This is by far the worst dunkin I’ve ever been to. The service is terrible they are always on their phones and when they do help you they move as slow as a snail. It looks like the place hasn’t been cleaned since they opened. Not sure if they ever clean the stove as burnt pieces of it were stuck to my food. I don’t know how they made my nieces plain bagel toasted with cream cheese taste bad but she wouldn’t eat it. The food and drinks taste like everything is old !!!! Terrible

The food at Joey Z's Brooklyn Pizza is consistently excellent, with always fresh ingredients and a tasty presentation. The staff pays careful attention to your order, ensuring it is correct unlike many of their competitors. The waitstaff is top-notch, providing an exceptional experience every time. Hats off to Joey Z! Recently, a family ordered two pies from the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality.

I wish could give this place 0 stars. I called for a pickup order at 3:45 and the lady told me 20-25 mins. I arrived to pick it up at 4:10, 25 mins after I called. There weren’t a lot of customers in the store, maybe 2 or 3 tables. She told me it would take a few more mins. I was fine with waiting a little longer. It ended up being another 30 min wait… in sum, it took them 1 hour to make a thin crust cauliflower 10” pizza (see pic). In my opinion, the food was definitely not worth the extra 30 mins.

My family ordered 2 pies tonight! We got the Alla Vodka Deep Dish and the Pesto Thin Crust... I have to be honest, I was not expecting it to be THAT GOOD! The crust had a perfect crunch and seasoning, and the dough was cooked exactly the way it should be! Both sauces were delicious. Plus, the price was right for all that deliciousness! 10/10 highly recommend!

Jersey Mike's Subs is a sandwich chain based in New Jersey that offers oversized subs filled with cold cuts and various toppings. The staff at this counter-serve restaurant are friendly and eager to assist customers in making their choices. A recommended option is the Italian Hero Mikes Way, which is prepared by helpful employees. This location stands out for its cleanliness, making it an appealing spot to visit regularly. Additionally, Jersey Mike's Subs provides allergy-friendly options without requiring specific requests.

Finally tried jersey mikes!! I was greeted with a smile and an eagerness to help me make my decision. When trying a new spot I always ask the first person what to get. They recommended the Italian hero mikes way. The guy who made the sub was super helpful in making my decision and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Something different. Nothing crazyUPDATE..try to give this place another chance. I order online so I can quick pick up on my break. Get there 17 extra cheese...extra meat and bacon. Now it come to almost $30..just that alone. I pick up my order to eat later for diner. It's a loaf of bread. Not much meat at all for extra. Parts of it I didn't even have cheese. Very empty loaf of bread for $30.i don't mind paying more for a good meal. Not just blan but very little meat and cheese especially since I paid for extra. Definitely not worth it.

Since you can’t find a good Philly Cheesesteak in the area this is a fantastic alternative. I was pleasantly surprised how good the Sub was. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a true Philly Cheesesteak but for the price and taste you can’t go wrong. You gotta try it.

We had a huge family dinner party not more than 15 in the back room and it was perfect the girl was on it too and everyone loved everything! Not perfect place for fast type food but sit down and dine is nice. Very happy with all the service and food. It’s good Italian food too. We have them before too still good food everyone took home food too! I don’t know the cost but I’d say seeing the menu walking in specials it’s probably typical date night prices $23 for a special ya know. But good food and left overs always a hit. Try their antipasto I think it’s called it’s great for lunch too. Chicken parmigiana is my favorite but my kids loved their egg plant stuff too. Oh and they have alcohol too. I’ve had their whisky it’s good. Most enjoyed their wines everyone drink and was merry.

Thin crust pizza is great. We enjoyed a white, margarita and alla vodka slice; all were delicious. The tables and bathroom are clean. The table was stocked with garlic powder, pepper flakes and the usuals. The owner was very friendly. This is their new Miller Place location. Their party room seats 15 - 60 at $15+pp. If the rest of their food is as good as the pizza this will be our new weekly Italian food spot! This store is connected via a parking lot to a drug store, a marshals, a nail place, a pet store. Suffice it to say it’s a convenient place to stop. Highly recommended.

Went in for 2 slices for my girls. They said they had to make a fresh house pie so I waited. I sat there about 7 min and was handed a box. When I got home and opened it they were clearly old slices. I saw them sitting behind the counter on top of an open oven when I walked in. They didn’t even heat them up that much and the slices were hard and tough to eat. I worked in pizza places for many years…

I must say as a first visit I don’t have too much experience so this could be a one time thing but unfortunately I wasn’t too happy! Maybe hopes shouldn’t always be up for “New York style pizza”. Living in New York for my whole life I wasn’t impressed. The pizza wasn’t bad but definitely not “New York foldable” like expected in NY style pizza. The crust was burnt and it wasn’t the best quality. Service was excellent and otherwise I have not complaints. For context I ordered a meatball slice and this is what the “Meatball” looked like

Wing Wah Kitchen, an excellent Chinese takeout spot located in Suffolk, is renowned for its friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant experiences a high volume of customers on Fridays and Saturdays, so it's advisable to call ahead to avoid long waits. Despite the recent 45-minute delay experienced by one customer, the food served at this establishment is undeniably delicious. This longstanding eatery has been serving customers since childhood, impressing them with clear order taking and accurate pickup times.

We have lived in the area for 7 years and can not believe we haven't tried this place. Store front restaurant appeared clean, still with the Covid plexiglass barricade, which is bizarre. Last week, I tried the House Crispy Noodles, which was amazing! Today, I went in for a lunch special. I had the roast pork lo mein, with wonton soup and an egg roll. The broth of the soup was flavorful and delicious; I personally like the addition of scallions. A random, thin slice of roast pork was floating, and I would have liked more. The wontons were good but needed to be more tender. They had a definite hard bite. The egg roll was great. A nice size, decently filled, and not at all oily. The Lo Mein was the star. Great flavor, and generous thick slices of roast pork. This is my new Chinese go-to. Service is usually quick and always friendly.

A group of seven individuals went to celebrate a birthday at the restaurant Due Baci Italian Restaurant. They had made reservations and were promptly seated at a clean and beautifully decorated place. Despite its small size, the restaurant had good acoustics even with a crowd. They enjoyed warm bread served in the style of Brooklyn, accompanied by dipping sauces. The food was exceptional, fresh, and not greasy, giving off a healthy vibe. The waitress provided excellent service despite being busy.

I can't even begin to explain my experience here. I have been to a LOT of places that friends have sworn to me are real deal Italian. This, hands down, blew anywhere I've ever been to out of the water.Given that I grew up with large scale Italian meals for holidays, birthdays, losses (any reason really) I know what its like to taste hand crafted, home cooked goodness. My great grandmother, my grandmother, my mother & aunt all showed me the tradition. We started with the most INSANE mozzarella sticks. Fresh cut cheese, deliciously lightly breaded goodness wirh a sauce that even had my 3 year old niece craving more. Also ordered the sausage broccoli rabe, lump crab meat and caprese salad.I had a crab, scallop and shrimp pasta in a light cream sauce that was like, liquid gold. Every single flavor worked in tandem and the extensive wine list helped me pair it perfectly. For dessert most had decaf espresso but I chose a port wine. We had limoncello gelato that had that same 3 year old licking the flute clean! We also had a mango, passionfruit, vanilla truffle thing that tasted like sherbet and I needed a wheel barrel to leave! The hospitality and professionalism by the staff was unbelievable and our server paced everything perfectly. I wish I took more pictures but I was having too much of a good time eating all the food!! I highly recommend this place. Perfect access to the ferry as well, which is great cause I can't wait to convince my Connecticut friends to join me!!

The mussels (white wine) were good and the tomato sauce/meatballs were fine. I ordered to go and had my eyes set on the Papardelle bolognese - after 30 mins I got there (without receiving a single call that there was no papardelle, which influenced my whole order completely) and the waitress casually dropped in that they used Linguini instead and charged me the same price. I don’t care about the money, it’s the principle, especially having decent expectations given the ratings. But I’ll attach a picture of the “Papardelle Bolognese” (Linguini bolognese) and you decide if it was right to charge someone 22$ for this, Kraft macaroni and cheese on roids. I blame the hostess as she didn’t even know what parpadelle was, and wasnt interested enough in taking my info despite the long wait time. It’s hard looking forward to the best meal of the day (dinner) and settling knowing you could’ve went somewhere else. No energy for this- do better!!

7 of us went out for a birthday dinner. We had reservations and our table was waiting for us. The place isn't too large, the decor was nice, simple, and very clean. The acoustics was great for being crowed. The bread basket was warm-- Brooklyn style bread with dipping sauce. All the food was excellent, tasted fresh and healthy, not greasy. Our waitress was top notch, being very busy did not skip a beat. The drinks were great, we had dirty martinis, watermelon martini, coconut martini. I liked they left the shakers on the table so drinks were kept cold. One of the best parts was we weren't rushed at all. Great space in between apps and the main meal, so you weren't rushed at all. Had a great time and would go back.

Delicious new entry Down Port. Great Italian food, sauce was tasty and a bit spicy, which I love. Drinks were made fresh and good. Great happy hour, not expensive but has expensive views for sure. Hope they are successful. It was packed!

We tried DueBaci tonight in Port Jeff village and was thoroughly impressed. We used the valet parking and the staff was excellent. We had a reservation and was seated promptly. The decor is very nice and the view of the harbor at night is pretty. We were greeted by the receptionist and the manager, and after we were seated they introduced our server. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table and shared an appetizer, Caprese Rustica, that myself, my wife and daughter all enjoyed. They also brought us a basket of warm bread that was very good.I ordered the Pappardelle con Bolognese that was amazing, I asked the waitress and she recommended this dish and she was right. The pasta and sauce was so good. The owner stopped by our table to check on us, nice touch. My wife had the Due Bacci Pesce Pasta which she enjoyed and my daughter had the Pasta Primavera which she liked. The portions were generous. So in summary the atmosphere was good, the service was excellent, the food was excellent, and prices were reasonable. We will definitely go back.Very happy to have this restaurant as a choice in Port Jeff Village.

Just hung with friends at the bar. We had many different dishes and was very pleased with all of them. Service was great. The place is beautiful. I will definitely go for a sit down dinner. I will also go back just to hang at the bar.

First time eating here but certainly not the last. The owner came to the table to chat as well as the manager Stacy. They were very interested in our experience at Due Baci and if we had any suggestions for improvements. Susan our waitress is worth requesting for our next dinner

Restaurant and decor is beautiful and inviting. We tried Cantera Negra tequila which I've only seen here and it was super smooth. Food was good but we were here for happy hour and I think they should have some more options to compete with other restaurants in the area like $1 oysters! Also they should put lights on the parking lot. Overall great experience. #beautiful #restaurant #duebaciitalianrestaurant #canteranegra

Upon arriving at the ferry with limited time and empty stomachs, the idea of purchasing ready-made slices was considered. However, the option of a fresh pie was suggested by my partner. Despite initial hesitation due to time constraints, an estimate of 15 minutes was given but quickly reduced to 10 minutes. Within this short timeframe, we obtained a delectable pepperoni pizza along with two impulsive purchases of Jamaican beef patties that were freshly baked.

yo bro darth vader buggin 😭 the pizza here is amazing and i woukd lOVE to order here again. although the prices are a bit steep, it just fits the pizza in my opinion. Best pizza place on LI! brian your an opp ong on dd

Pizza was okay. No price list. Was charged $8 for 2 slices and seemed too much. Overheard the lady after me was charged "tres dolares" ($3) where i paid $4. Dirty and old interior.

I ordered a fresh full pie with toppings. They took old slices and pieced them together and sold it as a whole pie. Toppings were raw and piza was cold. That is just wrong and bad business. Kinda dirty too.

Definitely a place for a late snack, there’s no seating.

1 hour delivery. Driver got lost. Extremely overpriced, did not give total over the phone. No yogurt sauce with Gyro. Food needs to be better for the price, and especially because there is a pizza place on every block. Next time, we'll be ordering from Joey Z's directly across the street.

We arrived to the ferry with just a small window of time and empty stomachs. I was thinking of just getting a few of the ready-made slices, but then my partner asked about getting a fresh pie and how long that would take. We got an estimate of 15 minutes, but as soon as he read our hesitant looks, he vowed, "10 minutes." We agreed, and within 10 minutes we had a fresh pepperoni pie, plus two impulse-buy Jamaican beef patties that were fresh out of the oven, and it all hit the spot when we enjoyed it on the ferry not long afterward. This place was exactly what we needed, and then some! If you also find yourself waiting for the ferry and in need of good food in a hurry, this is the place to go.

I grew up on LI, went to Our Last of Wisdom (Catholic School just up the street), and went down port every couple of weeks.I've since moved to Arizona, where we aren't exactly known for our pizza. Every year, my husband (also from LI) & I go visit family back home in Lindenhurst and Merrick.I brought him to Port Jeff Pizza on a rare putting to show him down port, and now... EVERY YEAR we go home, we will drive all the way out to Port Jefferson for the best pizza on the island! The memories, the flavors, the service.... THANK YOU! A million times over- THANK YOU! see you in a few months!

I recently had the displeasure of visiting this pizza place that left me deeply disappointed and questioning the sanity behind their exorbitant prices. While I am usually open-minded when it comes to trying new eateries, this particular establishment failed to deliver on all fronts.Let's start with the pricing, which can only be described as utterly disproportionate. I was shocked to find that a basic cheese pizza was priced at a level that could rival some high-end gourmet restaurants. It seemed as if they were charging for the ambiance and location rather than the quality of their food. Unfortunately, their pizza fell short of any reasonable expectation, making the inflated prices even more infuriating.Moving on to the pizza itself, it was nothing short of a disappointment. The crust lacked any semblance of character, resembling more of a stale, flavorless cardboard than a freshly baked dough. The cheese was sparse, barely covering the surface, and the toppings were haphazardly scattered without any attention to distribution or flavor pairing. It was evident that quality and attention to detail were not priorities for the kitchen staff. The lackluster taste of the pizza was further exacerbated by the underwhelming quality of the ingredients. The sauce had an artificial, overly sweet flavor that drowned out any possibility of enjoying the natural flavors of the toppings. The cheese had an unpleasant rubbery texture and tasted like a low-grade, mass-produced product. Even the freshest and tastiest toppings couldn't save this culinary disaster.Service at this pizza place was a mixed bag. While the staff was polite and welcoming, it was clear that they were ill-equipped to handle the volume of customers efficiently. Long waiting times for orders were the norm, and it was frustrating to witness the disorganization behind the scenes. It seemed like they were more interested in the volume of customers they could squeeze in rather than providing a quality dining experience. To add insult to injury, cut job was dreadful. It felt as if they were trying to make up for their lackluster food by cutting corners on the quantity. A single slice of their overpriced pizza left me hungry and dissatisfied, which is completely unacceptable given the amount I had paid.In conclusion, my experience at this pizza place was nothing short of regrettable. With disproportionately high prices and woefully subpar pizza, it's hard to justify a visit to this establishment. There are far better options available at more reasonable prices, where you can enjoy delicious pizzas made with quality ingredients and served with genuine care. Save your money and skip this unfortunate excuse for a pizzeria.

This place is used to charging the bar patrons obscene prices at night when they're too drunk to question anything. I'm not a drunk patron, I'm a local, so I was extremely put off by the $7 charge for a "specialty slice" that had been sitting around all day (if not several days). Tasteless, cheap, stale crust, & visibly old, dry chicken pieces. Prices aren't posted, I think the guy just pulled a price out of his rear end (Colosseo, a superior establishment, is less than $5 for the same slice...and it's delicious, too). Then the guy who randomly charged me the $7 cash added insult to injury by handing me the old, reheated slice on a just a paper plate to go. No bag or box? Never again. I miss Vincenzo's. Better off driving to Miller Place for his REAL Italian food.

If you’re looking for a cheap quick slice, go here. Nothing fancy. Had a regular cheese slice and pepperoni slice. Serviceable pizza

Had to be the worse gyro I've ever eaten. It was like a gyro taco, the meat was hard and unfresh, the onions were soggy and old and the tzatziki was like paste, the fries were under cooked too... avoid this place at all costs...

What is up with prices? $7.61 for a Buffalo chicken slice. Ridiculous.
