Example: Veritas Grips with a total stat score of 63. Would that be considered high? If not, what is?Edit: This is probably the most helpful responses I have had in a long time. Super, super helpful, y'all! Thank you for your input!

Mid 60-ish and higher. Though stat distribution is generally way more important.

For a 46 stat base armor build with any subclass the best stat split among armor will be 3x 65 and 2x 66 this will leave you with one minor slot and 4 big slots.Aka anything lower then 65 is not the 0.1% top thier. Ps: artifice armor will be getting retroactively 3 points added when lightfall launch so don’t delete those just yet.Hope this helps

68 is the highest legendary armor can go. What you really want if for the armor to be really high in your 2 most desired stats. Depending on what you are looking for you may want to prioritize one stat over the other. My example is that I love to have high recovery for my rift cooldown. Recovery mods are the most expensive so I try to hit 100 recovery without the use of mods. This allows me to save some energy cost on gear when gaining tiers on discipline or resilience

65 and higher is more or less desired, but it doesn’t mean that anything lower than that is garbage because it still depends on your distribution. You could have a 59 roll with 20 in two desired Stats and a decent 3rd stat, an example being. Titan: 20 Resilience, 20 Discipline, and 13 Recovery. Also in my opinion evened stats are really great too like you see every thing as 10 and like two or three being 12-15.

65+ But depending on the stat spikes even 57-60s are desirable.
Example: Veritas Grips with a total stat score of 63. Would that be considered high? If not, what is?
1. 65 to me is my hard baseline for high total stats. (Disclaimer, some might consider this picky). 68 is the max for legendary gear, and 70 is the max for Exotics.2. At least 18 for your desired spiked stats, as high as 23, and no lower than 16. Low total stats (sub 60) with high spikes in your desired stats are acceptable.3. Accounting for total stats, consider armor with undesirable stats as low as possible, 2. This will help you maintain an even spread of stats if it's not as "spiky" as you desire. Example, I do not desire Mobility or Intellect, so even a 60 stat armor can be decent if both are sitting at 2.4. Stats are packaged in 2 subgroups with Mobility, Resilience and Recovery 1st, and Discipline, Intellect and Strength 2nd. These subgroups have a max of 34 stat total (35 for Exotics). Try to make your desired stats one from each subgroup. Same goes for your undesirable stats.

I personally don't keep anything under 65 these days. I still have armour pieces under 65 that work with certain builds, but anything that drops now under 65 is instant shards.

Technically, anything 60 or more. I personally don’t keep anything under 64 anymore, and I don’t masterwork under 66.

Around 60+ is what bungle gives for high stat armour. Personally, it’s all about stat distribution. Some armour that has 55 or something might be kept depending if it’s what I need for a build.

It depends on the player, Ive had >63 stay armour that I kept because the stat distribution was good for the builds I was going for. Best piece of advice, don't worry about the total stat. Theres no point having 64 total stat when the specific sat you're going for is 8

Kinda depends on how long you’ve been playing. At start, yes 63 is pretty solidBut eventually you’ll come across enough higher stat rolls that 63’s will look less good. 68 is cap for legendary. Most of my current set ranges from 64-67ish. Generally you want 68’s with spikes in the stats you want to build into, but that takes quite a bit of time

Varies by person. Keep in mind the maximum base stats you can get on legendary armor is 68. Exotics can go a little higher (71 or 72 I think?)I pretty much immediately dismantle anything under 62 unless the stat distribution is too good to pass up.Personally- I consider anything 64 or higher to be 'high stat', but to me the stat distribution is more important than the overall stat value

Duality armor. It drops heavy in up to three stats an low in others. The armor focusing mod helps to narrow down the stats you need. I recommend doing it on master as soon as possible before the next reset. It will be the last chance to get the best possible armor before LightfallYou can inspect my Titan’s gauntlets, chest or helmet to see an example of the armor distribution from Duality.

I think in-game it's considered 58+

For me, 64+. But even armor as low as ~60 can be valuable. The split is more important than the total unless you’re really trying to min/max every possible stat point.

Best way to get high stat armour, psi ops battlegrounds focusing. Really spikey so easy to get double or even triple 100. Just unlock the node on the vendor to focus armour ;)Use a discipline ghost mod & you'll get 2 big spikes in discipline & either resil, recov, or mobility. Same umbrals as you're doing them, then focus 8 at a time,do 2 pieces of each piece (head, arms, chest, legs). They drop between 63-68 so with good distribution it's very good. They've moved away from vendors giving this high spikey gear so make the most of the last few weeks of it.Use d2armorpicker website to get the best build for you, it's very simple.FWIW it's more about where the stats are, rather than total numbers.. you can have -blam!- with 25 recov 25 discipline & that's great, or you could have a full set of 68s with 13 in every slot so useless.

Pretty much stats that are around 63+. But it varies between the distribution. Because they can be evenly split, or solely focused on two specific stats solely. I prefer armor that has high stats values, but are mainly focused on specific stat areas. Which are recovery, resilience, and strength. Where I generally try to aim for triple 100, which I currently am almost sitting at with 100 res, 100 strength, and 90 recov unless I switch to void titan.

-The ceiling for purple rarity armor is 68 at base.-Distribution matters-Artifice will have an extra slot to let us put in a +3 on a stat which we desire coming Lightfall (no mention of the cost here yet)Depending on how heavily you are playing I'd estimate, you are looking for 65+ for non-artifice. I myself now rarely keep new drops below 67 artifice, but do draw conclusions as you see fit.

63 if it is Artifice, yes.65 and up otherwise.Because you get +12 from Masterworking, and you can throw a +10 mod on.Artifice I am willing to go 60-65 cause it has the extra mod socket so it's overall value is higher to me.I found if you are doing a Master Dungeon for artifice, you get higher stats using a ghost mod that focuses one stat.

That says you want high Res, discipline and rec.Set 1Mob 2Res 30/20Rec 2/10Set 2Dis 30Int 2Str 2For legendary max should be 66/68 can't remember haha. Exotic 70? 68?Ghost spec in dis is the norm. The above stats is mostly for warlock and Titan.Hunter a tad bit difficult to farm.Set 1Mob 30/20/10Rec 2Res 20/10Set 2Dis 20/10Int 2Str 30/20/10Mob, str and Res are the most relevant.Ghost spec mob/strPVE.Note the point is distributed equally between two sets. Stats distribution prioritize over overall stat.

A lot of others have mentioned the stat distribution which is key. I take special notice of pieces that have high stats in what I'm looking for, but also look at the less important stats. A good example of this is perhaps you have piece drop with 8 resistance, 18 recovery, 8 discipline, and 18 strength. I like the piece because I know if I masterwork it all those numbers go up by 2 giving me a full point for resistance and discipline, and two full points for the other two. Add whatever mod you're in to for another 10.

It depends on what tier you’re looking for and how spiky the armour is. I think for the tier I’m looking at (32 without mods) I need an average of 64 total per piece.
