LSU baseball is one of the hottest teams in college baseball.
The Tigers (39-20) have won 17 of their past 22 games and six straight. Included in those six consecutive wins are three straight victories at the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover, Alabama.
As the No. 11 seed, LSU has knocked off No. 6 Georgia, No. 3 Kentucky and Thursday night, rallied in the ninth inning to edge No. 10 South Carolina 11-10 at the Hoover Metropolitan to earn a spot in the semifinals Saturday. That's when the Tigers meet South Carolina again for a shot at the SEC Tournament championship game Sunday afternoon.
Offense has led the way for LSU in Hoover while its top two pitchers, Gage Jump and Luke Holman, both pitched lights out in their starts against Georgia and Kentucky, respectively. Led by star Tommy White, the Tigers have scored 29 runs across three games and have hit seven home runs, including two grand slams from White and Jared Jones.

LSU came back from three runs down entering the eighth frame against the Gameco*cks on Thursday night. South Carolina picked itself back up after the heartbreaking loss and eliminated No. 3 Kentucky to give itself another shot at LSU in the semis.
