PACKERS NOTES See videos and insider blogs at packersnews.com is." Raji was angered by Saints long snapper Justin Drescher, who went after his legs. Raji threw a punch and received a personal foul on a 21-yard field goal attempt by the Saints. Raji's penalty gave the Saints first-and-goal at the one, but the Packers came up with a goal-line stand that included a pair of passes defended by cor-nerback Tramon Williams, and the Saints ended up kicking a field goal. "I was fortunate that Tramon made a couple of plays on the goal line to keep them out of the end zone," Raji said. Jennings sits: Receiv er Greg Jennings is frustrated by his inability to shake his groin injury.

He doesn't know when he'll be back on the field. He didn't practice Wednesday and probably won't play Sunday at Indianapolis. Welcome back: Defensive end Mike Neal wants to play Sunday against the Colts. But the Packers haven't decided whether to add Neal to the roster. If he's activated for Sunday's game, the Packers would have to add him by Saturday.

Rodgers honored: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named NFC offensive player of the week for his performance against the Saints. Rob Demovsky writes for the Green Bay Press-Gazette. By Rob Demovsky Gannett Wisconsin Media GREEN BAY B.J. Raji knew he was lucky he didn't get thrown out of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints for throwing a punch during an altercation. So when the Green Bay Packers nose tackle saw an envelope from the NFL waiting for him at Lam-beau Field on Wednesday, he figured he would be writing a big check.

He expected a fine in the neighborhood of $20,000. He was relieved he was docked "about $7,800," he said. Players can appeal all fines, but Raji said he wouldn't do so. "I'll probably just pay it," he said. "I don't want them to revisit the play, so I'll just leave it the way it team's roster.

The Colts said they'll pay tribute to Saturday's 13 seasons with them, including the final 12 years as the starting center, with a video they'll show the fans before the game. Saturday entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie, made the Colts roster in 1999 after spending his first season out of football and was the starting center from 2000 through last season. In his 11 seasons teamed with Manning, the Colts went 140-56 (.714 winning percentage), made the playoffs all but one season, won one Super Bowl and played in one other. Saturday went to five Pro Bowls, the most recent in 2010, and played a key role as the signal caller for the offensive line in the Colts' no-huddle offense. But last offseason, after going 2-14 with Manning unable to play because of a neck injury, the Colts remade their franchise.

They fired coach Jim Caldwell and Polian, cut Manning less than a month before his 36th birthday, and made over their roster. A rebuilding team with new GM Ryan Grigson, new coach Chuck Pagano and rookie quarterback Andew Luck had no place for a center who would be 37 by the season's start. "At the end of the day, we parted as good as you can part," Saturday said after the Packers' practice Wednesday. "My contract ended no release, no anything. It was just they had a direction they wanted to head, and I did as well." Saturday signed with the Packers early in free agency, on March 13, to replace departed free agent Scott Wells.

His two-year deal includes $4 million in bonuses and salary this year and $3.75 million if he's on the team in 2013. Saturday said he had comparable offers from Denver, where Manning had signed, and Tennessee. He chose the Packers in part because they had established starting guards in Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang, who could make the transition to a new offense easier. Also, he thought moving to Green Bay would be far less disruptive for his family than following Manning to Denver.

Saturday and his wife, Karen, have two sons, 12 and 6, and a daughter, 10. All moved to Green Bay for the season but will go back to their permanent home in Indianapolis in the offseason. Saturday was surprised to find that the transition to Green Bay has been more difficult on the football field than off it. This is his first time working in a West Coast scheme after spending 13 seasons in the Colts' offense. "My kids joined right in, no issue," Saturday said.

"The schools here have been great, the fans, the friends have been really easy to come by here. Football-wise, it's taken some getting used to. It's just a completely different system." Pete Dougherty writes for the Green Bay Press-Gazette. WIAA GIRLS' TENNIS Manitowoc sectional Kimberly's No. 1 doubles team of Heather Bartelt and Paige Gorges lost their first match in sectional play on Wednesday.

The Papermakers, who scored 12 points in subsectional play, failed to score any sectional points and finished seventh out of 16 teams. Kaukauna did not score in either round of play.
