    pete pappas from United States

“Before the University was built, there were never huge crowds. Also there are no longer any regulators in the line-up, because of the fear of one of these soy boys going to get a lawyer if they are yelled at or forbid me, dunked.
The surf schools are a rip off. they give lessons and charge $70-80 an hour, even when it's flat. These kooks go to the point and slot when it is small, along with anyone else and create havoc. None of these clowns have paid any dues, which means you spend your time in smaller waves and in several years, maybe, just maybe you might get a shot at a very dangerous point. Forget afternoons, especially at middle peak. The kooks sit out there in groups socializing, like at cowell's and pay no attention to what's going on, wipeout on every wave and ditch their longboards.”
