First, your cake is made to order and then promptly frozen to lock in freshness. We then use our custom designed food safe wrap liner to protect the cake followed by shrink wrapping the cake to keep it super fresh.

Next, we pack it with a custom designed inner cake box surrounded by decorative crinkle paper and we wrap the box in twine so the presentation of the gift looks amazing, including a hand written card.

Shipped from our Bakehouse
We then place the cake box into a custom fitted (and insulated!) branded shipping box and dry ice is added to keep the cake cool. Storage/serving instructions are also added to the box. UPS then picks up the box from our bakehouse!

Delivered to Your Door
Your box will arrive on your doorstep. Handle the dry ice with care (using something such as oven mitts), place the wrapped cake in the refrigerator and follow the storage/serving instructions. Enjoy!
Shipping Questions
Shipping a cake requires a lot of attention to detail to ensure it arrives fresh and looks great! First, your cake is made to order and then promptly frozen to lock in freshness. We then use our custom designed food safe wrap liner to protect the cake followed by shrink wrapping the cake to keep it super fresh. After, we pack it with a custom designed inner cake box surrounded by decorative crinkle paper and we wrap the box in twine so the presentation of the gift looks amazing. We then place the cake box into a custom fitted (and insulated!) branded shipping box and dry ice is added to keep the cake nice and cool. Storage/serving instructions are also added to the box along with a handwritten card if that option is selected.
We ship nationwide excluding AK and HI. If you are in California or Dallas we suggest ordering from our local bakeries HERE for a wider selection of items to have delivered or to pick-up from our 25+ bakeries.
We ship to business and residential areas and even most college campuses!
We ship from our bakery in Dallas, TX and ship all our cakes with overnight air.
Yes of course! While UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, MOST college mail systems are not technically considered P.O. Boxes. Just be sure to verify the accurate guidelines and address format with the university. Also, keep in mind that the cake will need to defrost in a refrigerator.
Use oven mitts when touching dry ice. Do NOT use bare hands. Place the dry ice in a well-ventilated area (e.g. kitchen sink) away from kids and pets at room temperature to discard.
Please send us a message HERE to make any changes to your order. We will do our best to accommodate any changes, however, if the product has already been prepared or shipped we may not be able to accommodate your request. For national shipment orders, you must contact us 48 hours prior to the shipment date (for example, if you requested a Wednesday arrival of your cake we would be shipping it out on Tuesday which means we would need to know about any changes by 5pm on Sunday). If you would like to request a change please contact us with your order number, name, phone number so we can assist you.
Please check your email for your order confirmation which will contain your tracking information. If you can't find that please reach out to us and contact us here.
At this time we are unable to contact your recipient prior to the shipment of the product. We suggest you select a date that you know they will be home since this is a perishable product. We are not responsible for packages delivered on time that are not taken care of properly (i.e. leaving it outside for days).
We will send your recipient clear instructions how how to store and serve the cake and they will also know who it's from if you select the option to include a hand-written card message.
We wil NOT include a receipt for the order in the box since many cakes shipped out are gifts!
Yes, we do. If for any reason you are not happy we ask that you reach out to us so we can make it right.
Your cake is made to order and then promptly frozen to lock in freshness. The cake will ship frozen with dry ice and may partially thaw or completeley thaw during shipment. Upon receipt please refrigerate if you are planning to consume within the next 24 hours, or freeze if you'll be saving the cake for a later day. Detailed storage and serving instructions will be included with the cake.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable. Insulation boxes can be placed in recycle bin.
Storage & Serving Questions
To thaw the cake, place the wrapped cake in the refrigerator overnight (You can remove from the box keeping the plastic wrap and liner on the cake). Then, in the morning (at least 4 hours prior to serving), unwrap the cake taking off the plastic and the cake liner, and place at room temperature. If your celebration is days or weeks away, just put the cake wrapped in the freezer until the night before your celebration and follow the above instructions. Our cakes keep up to 30 days in the freezer! These serving instructions will also be included with the cake.
