The San Fernando Valley Chapter of National Charity League, Inc., held its 53rd Annual Charity Ball, Just the Way You Are on Saturday, November 24 at the Four Seasons - Beverly Wilshire Hotel presenting eighteen lovely debutantes who have completed their six-year core program of leadership development, community service, and cultural experiences.
Gracefully curtseying the historic St. James Bow, these polished young ladies dressed in sparkling tulle and satin are truly empowered women striving to make a difference in the world. This year, the San Fernando Valley Chapter, raised thousands of dollars and donated 12,000 volunteer hours, the most of all the 258 NCL Chapters nationwide, to support their philanthropy partners: West Valley Food Pantry, Motion Picture Television Fund, Guide Dogs of America, West Valley Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society Discovery Shops, Operation Gratitude, New Horizons, ONEgeneration, Special Olympics Tri-Valley, and My Stuff Bags Foundation.
The San Fernando Valley Debutante Class of 2018 include: Miss Felicity Annabelle Black, Miss Jacqueline Mary Bruder, Miss Mia Meicai Dawson, Miss Jordyn Taylor Fardad, Miss Persia Brooke Fardad-Finn, Miss Isabella Francesca Gettings, Miss Carley Jordan Goldfarb, Miss Taylor Rae Gorjestani, Miss Melissa Anne Kern, Miss Cameron Jade Klein, Miss Nicole Joy Alexandra McGinnis, Miss Emma Lyla Mumford, Miss Nicole Michelle Naidrich, Miss Alexandra Marie Patierno, Miss Neala Ariel Rashidfarrukhi, Miss Jordan Simone Robinson, Miss Brooke Ashley Wayne, and Miss Caroline Helene Zaelke.
