What Ark map has the best resources? ›

Abberation has alot of everything, Metal is plentiful, It's one of the most resource rich maps.

There are way too many missions, all of which consist of doing the same things repeatedly. The companion NPC, HLNA, also gets annoying after hours of playing the map. These reasons combine to make Genesis 1 the worst Ark: Survival Evolved map.

Ferox: You'll find the Ferox in Genesis' snow biome (around 83.9, 47.6). In order to tame it, it's best to have a large base built around the area first. It must be big enough to house the Ferox's monster form. Base built, find a Ferox and feed it Element to transform it into its hulk state.

Blue Gems can be mined from the various blue crystalline formations found throughout the Luminous Marshlands and aberrant zones such as the The Emerald Forest in Valguero, Lost Ark Grotto in Lost Island, and Beiygjaheimr in Fjordur using a Stone Pick.

The Rockarrot is actually a carrot. If said slowly, the pronunciation sounds a bit like “raw carrot”. Rockarrots (and their seeds) can be found on The Farm on Valguero and in The Highlands on Ragnarok.

The Rare Flower is a crafting ingredient in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be harvested from cattails, brambles, and pitcher plants in swamps, red branched bushes near mountain tops, short spiky shrubs in snowy areas, and can be found in Giant Beaver Dam.

Best metal spots in Ragnarok? up near the castle near viking bay- also over above the jungle near the torture den- also the snow near the ice cave entrance, and even inside ice cave, and redwoods :) As said, just travel around and observe. Metal is randomly all over the place.

Which Ark map is the easiest? ›

The Island is definitely not the easiest map. But with the other maps it depends what kind of easy you are talking about. Looking at the story maps, Gen 2 is the easiest based on survival but Scorched is the easiest to complete.
