Speed Boost Shinespark

Using the secret Shinespark move starts the same as any other Speed Booster move. Click the left thumbstick and run until you see Samus flash blue-white to indicate that the Speed Booster has kicked in. You’ll keep your Speed Booster going until you jump or change directions. You can, however, wall jump to change directions and maintain the Speed Booster.

At that point, move the left thumbstick down as if you were crouching. Samus will glow purple. This means you’ve basically stored up the Speed Booster power for about five seconds and can unleash it as a Shinespark. You can move, slide, shoot, Flash Shift, and transform into a Morph Ball while still maintaining the charge.

To unleash the Shinespark move, hold down the B button. Samus will float. Chose a direction with the left thumbstick and Samus will rocket off, smashing through any Speed Booster Blocks in the way.

You’ll need to master this move to get through the Speed Booster Blocks walling off any Missile Tanks or Energy Tanks you can’t reach with conventional means.
