What kind of pickup is a K&K Pure Mini? ›

Pure Mini is a pickup with three piezo heads. Attach three heads under the bridge and pick up to help balance the sound and get the optimal frequency characteristics for acoustic guitars.

You can use any store-bought superglue to glue the pickups into your guitar. We recommend a superglue GEL, because it gives you a little more time to re-position the pickups before it dries.

If asking about magnetic or electric guitar pickups - they don't function with nylon strings. To retain or amplify nylon strings, you need to employ microphone, either external or internal, or piezo in order to sense material vibration or actual sound waves.

Harley Benton guitars are manufactured in around 20 factories in China, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Input impedance is 1 meg and the output is low ohmic. Battery life is about 180+ hours. On the rear of preamp are two 1/4" jacks (input and output). The output jack also doubles as battery switch, when unplugged it disconnects the battery when not in use.

Doing so is not recommended, because it could damage the guitar. The main reason for not recommending switching strings is because of the following differences between nylon-string and steel-string guitars. Steel strings involve higher tensile forces than nylon strings, which means they apply higher loads on the neck.

Drawbacks of Nylon Strings

The strings are highly sensitive to temperature, and they don't settle as much as steel. Finally, the strings are much more likely to break or come loose, and using picks will damage them over time.
