ESPN Central Texas’ David Smoak hosted his ninth-annual Smoaky’s Academic All Star Banquet on Wednesday night at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
The program honored 10 male athletes and 10 female athletes for their achievements in the classroom. among the honorees 11 will be the valedictorian or salutatorian of their respective high schools.
The Keynote speaker was former Marine and current entrepreneur, Andy Williams, who is now one of the Star’s of HGTV’s Flip-or-Flop.
