TREATMENT OVERVIEW
This unique method allows you to obtain the perfect lip colour and contour with a lipstick effect. Vibrant colours and full coverage will satisfy the most demanding women. Full lip coverage makes the lips more luminous and fuller. The procedure is performed by marking the contour and filling in the lips with a semi-permanent make-up machine and soft pigment implantation without causing too much trauma to the skin.
TREATMENT INFORMATION
Before pigmentation takes place in the desired area a shape will be drawn by the technician for your approval. After that the colour will be chosen to suit your features and complexion to perfectly match your natural appearance in the area. After full approval of the pre-drawn shape a permanent makeup will take place and the treatment regularly lasts for a couple of hours during which we make sure you are comfortable. Use of anaesthetics helps with any discomfort during the treatment.
Immediately after the treatment the appearance of your lips will be much darker and more intense. It softens during the next few days as the swelling goes down and the scabbing process starts. Full healing of the area takes between 4 to 12 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
This unique lip pigmentation technique is designed to create beautifully shaped and coloured lips and perfect any imbalances in the natural shape or colour. The pigment is implanted into the outer layers of the skin to enhance, lighten, or intensify natural lip shape and colour. A perfect lip contour is drawn, and the shape is filled in with a pigment to beautifully define and enhance the lips.
Skin on our lips constantly regenerates and the exfoliation processes will cause colour loss over time. On average lip pigmentation should last between 1 and 3 years. The longevity of lip colour results is mostly determined by the oiliness, thickness, and age of the skin. Sweating and sun exposure also have a major impact on pigment retention; semi-permanent makeup should be protected from the sun using SPF to prolong the results.
In general, the clients describe the treatment as not painful, however some experience slight discomfort. It depends on a client’s pain threshold and the area that is being treated. Topical anaesthetics are being used before and during the treatment to soothe the discomfort.
The colour will be fading gradually until it fully disappears. To maintain a good appearance of your lips a maintenance treatment is recommended once a year. A discount is applied when the touch up is done within 6-12 months. Our clients will still get a good discount up until 24 months after the initial session.
It takes a few years for the colour to completely fade away from the skin, the fading time depends on the: area, depth and technique used also the colour. The darker the colour was used- the longer it will last. Fading also depends on the age and external factors.
The method chosen will depend on whether you would like to add definition to the contour of your lips or to only enhance or correct the colour. These are all the methods that are available. The chosen method can be established upon a consultation.
Barbie doll lips- Full coverage of the natural lip with outlined contour, providing the lipstick effect
3Delicious lips- natural method with outlined contour and blended colour.
Nude lips- Very natural, very soft results achieved by using peachy and natural colours to lighten the natural colour of the lips.
Lip blush- This method uses a shading technique without contouring to enhance or correct the colour of the lips with a very natural outcome.
The lips can appear fuller and more defined after the treatment however to achieve volume a use of dermal filler is recommended. Semi-permanent makeup is intended to enhance or correct natural lip colour and not add volume. It is not allowed to draw the contour outside of the natural lips to enhance the volume hence why dermal filler is a better option.
Pigmented lips can be corrected to certain extent by using corrective pigments to neutralise brown or ash tones of the lips however it cannot be removed. The results can be very satisfactory for most clients, but this is a process that can take up too few sessions to achieve desired colour.
